Taehyung was happy to oblige with that request, shoving another extra scoop of rocky road on top. "This is the fifth day in a row you've come to the shop," Tae said, handing the container to a smiley Jimin. "You and your girlfriend can't get enough, hm?"

"She's always so busy nowadays," Jimin replied, fiddling with his hair with his free hand, "the ice cream is keeping me healthy and happy."

"Sometimes I wonder if you're a puppy or a human."

"Me too," Y/n's voice said as she came over, flicking Taehyung's visor, "we're about to close. Need anything before I shut down?"

"Dignity."

"If I had some, do you really think I'd give it to you?"

"If I pout hard enough, sure."

Y/n rolled her eyes with a grin, turning off the lights to the place. "Jimin, good to see you my friend." The pair did their secret handshake they developed over their short friendship, Taehyung actually pouting now. "Tae Tae, what's wrong?" she asked as she finished the motion.

"I feel left out. You guys do all these cool things while I just sit here and watch."

"To be fair to myself, my entire personality is the definition of cool," Jimin said, winking.

"Alright Casanova, go show your girlfriend those flirting skills, yeah?" Y/n replied.

"Okay mom."

"You forgot the extra m and the y." Y/n winked back, Jimin gasping to make it more dramatic. Tae, on the other hand, kept his mouth shut and observed them.

Jimin was always a fun man to be around, but he seemed to light up around Tae and Y/n more than anyone else. Taehyung pondered why that may be, but then, Jimin drew him out of his thoughts. "Someone's looking pensive," Jimin said, pointing to Tae.

"Pensive? That's a big word for you."

Y/n snickered as she walked away, going to the back room presumably to do chores or something. As soon as she was out of earshot, Jimin leaned across the counter. "Okay, you totally dig her. Don't think I didn't see you staring at her ass."

"I was not! I have respect!"

"Do you? Or were you 'looking respectfully'? Come on Tae Tae, I really need you to get a girlfriend so I'm not the only couple at my wedding. All my friends are single, if I'm getting married and no one else is getting laid that night, then what's the point of getting married?"

"Jimin... I can't even tell you how much of that sentence was so wrong."

"I'm kidding. Mostly. But come on, I need someone to tease relentlessly. You already tease me about my height, my pinky, dumplings, my ass, my girlfriend, my face, my-"

"Okay okay, you've made your point clear. That doesn't mean that I'm going to fall in love with Y/n just to make you happy."

Jimin pat Taehyung on the shoulder, "Tae, I don't want you to do things that make me happy. I want you to do things that make you happy. That's why I'm excited for you. Y/n's a blast to be around, and she's a hard worker. I offered to help her with her college debt, but she said 'never'. She's a real keeper."

"You've known her for like a week."

"So? Sometimes you feel closer to the people you met yesterday than the ones you've known years."
