4 YEARS LATER

You chuckled and kissed his head, pulling back and shutting off the light. "Goodnight, Mr. Kim," you said, but of course, you got no response. That was expected when Mr. Kim wasn't even a full year old yet. That and he was already sound asleep in his crib, the little glow in the dark stars on his ceiling the only light in the room. You grinned as you quietly shut the door behind you, humming a tune as you went downstairs.

Jimin was waiting in the living room of Tae's mansion, pacing back and forth and rocking yet another little bugger in his arms. "Let's have another, she said. It'll be fun, she said," Jimin mumbled as he shushed his crying son.

"Uh oh. Someone's cranky. Where's your wife?" you asked as you approached.

"In the bathroom. I can't last ten seconds without her apparently. My own kid doesn't like me. You hear that, Little Park? You don't like me, and that makes daddy upset." He pouted for emphasis, but the crying baby didn't care. "Wow. I feel insulted."

"Jimin," you said, chuckling as you came over. He slowed his pace, and you guided him to be more relaxed. He knew how to handle children - after all, as he mentioned before, this was his second child now - but he was the type to be a panicking dad. Whenever his children so much as frowned, he went into protective mode. It was adorable as hell, but he definitely needed his wife here to help ease his nerves.

"Alright, am I doing good now?" he asked, and you nodded, helping him rock the baby back and forth. Jimin and his wife had a son and a daughter, with their son being the newest addition to the family. Jimin and his wife were over to babysit your beautiful child, as you had somewhere to be right now. They babysat your son once a week, and you theirs the same amount. It was a perfect balance you adored.

"If I go, will you survive?" you asked.

"I don't want to, but I probably will."

"That's the spirit." You gave his baby one last glance and chuckled. Even though the small Park was only about four months old, you could tell he was gonna look just like his father with those cute lips and puffy cheeks. Jimin was a huge family man, and you were excited to see where he ended up.

You went to the front door, opening it slowly as to not make much noise. Jimin waved to you as best he could, and you chortled at the sight. "Have a good trip, and let me know how it goes, okay?" he said.

"On it, Mr. Park. Make sure my boy doesn't get into any trouble."

"He's still a baby."

"Oh please, don't tell me Taehyung wasn't like that."

"Fair enough."

Jimin let you go, the two of you waving as you departed the mansion and went to your car, Jimin's next to yours. You slipped inside and ignited the engine, zooming away while also being cautious. Your baby boy needed a mother, and the last thing you wanted to do was crash and change all that. Although, Jimin's wife loved children, you're sure she wouldn't mind-

No Y/n, don't even joke about that. So you didn't, you kept on your path, yawning when you stopped at a red light. Your last turn was up ahead, and this light gave you a moment to think about your crazy week. First, you had to clean the entire God damn mansion because it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Next was of course dealing with an entire week's worth of your new full time job. And to top it all off, your therapist cancelled on you last minute. So you were stressed and depressed. What a wonderful combo. Surely nothing could go wrong.

The light switched, and you turned, driving down the rest of the road until you pulled in the parking lot and stopped your car. Alright. You could do this. Probably. Okay, maybe not. But fake confidence was confidence in itself, and that was what you needed to get you moving again.
