Alleyways Are Fun

ONE MONTH LATER

Taehyung was on cloud 9. Not because he was learning a lot about diurnal life, but also because he was living his dreams with Y/n. She was with him now, and they were walking back to her home. As always, he volunteered to take her back as it was the gentleman thing to do. She accepted, as always, and they found themselves pitter-pattering down the sidewalk, speaking about the most random things they could think of.

Now, they were speaking about pandas. Literally. They had a whole five-minute debate about whether pandas were endangering themselves or not. Y/n loved pandas a lot, and she claimed they needed to be saved from themselves because of how often they rolled out of trees. Taehyung didn't disagree, but he did say that pandas were doing it just to be dramatic. She took that personally. Very personally.

"Pandas aren't dramatic, they're just clumsy fluffballs of love and joy," she said, talking with her hands by making a hundred different gestures. He was amazed the finger wasn't one of them. "How dare you insinuate that they're anything but adorable little beans. Like Jimin!"

"Your argument is flawed."

"So Jimin isn't an adorable little bean?"

"Of course he is. He's clumsy, too. But he does it to be dramatic."

She gasped, throwing a hand over her chest. "On his behalf, I am deeply offended, Mr. Kim. Jimin would never do anything because he's dramatic-"

"He stubbed his toe yesterday, and he cried for two hours straight and claimed I had to amputate it. Bye bye little piggy number 4."

Y/n blinked a few times, slowing their pace. "Wait, only two hours? Quite frankly, I'm disappointed."

"I'm so done with you," Tae said with a huff, but the amusement lacing his tone had them laughing from their whole conversation. They were an interesting couple, that was for sure. They always found a way to have fun with one another, and Taehyung adored that aspect of their relationship. It was important in any relationship, whether it be romantic or platonic. Having fun made life worth living, right?

"Oh, look. Alleyway. That will cut our trip in half," she said, pointing to the pathway across from them. Taehyung didn't question it. He very rarely questioned Y/n. Why would he? He didn't have a death wish yet. So, they entered the dark alley, Taehyung coming a bit closer and holding her hand. "Scared of the dark?"

"Not really, but I've seen this horror movie before. Young couple walking through alleyway, and the next thing they knew, their heads were gone."

"Well shit, you're romantic."

"Shush."

"Make me."

Y/n pinned him to the wall right after he said those words. He wasn't surprised, but he still gasped from his back hitting the bricks behind him. He grunted, and Y/n smirked at his exertion. "Don't tease me, Mr. Kim," she said, stroking his hair out of his eyes. Shit. He had a boner.

"God dammit Y/n, I was trying to be funny and here you are making it hot."

"You said make me, so I made you. I don't back down from challenges."

Taehyung raised a brow, her about to speak when he cut her off. "Alright, here's a challenge for you: make me scream."

Y/n tilted her head, and Tae blinked. Well, that wasn't how he was expecting her to react. "In an alleyway?"

"Wait wha-"

"Well, if you insist." And their lips collided, Taehyung too astonished to do anything other than kiss back. He groaned into it, holding her hips so she came closer to him. She kept her hands on his shoulders, him continuously pinned on the wall as they made out in the alley. They didn't add any tongue yet, but he could sense that was the way this was going.

A moment later, she pulled back and stared at him. His skin tingled with delight, his heart bouncing with a thrill he couldn't describe. Y/n pet his hair and grinned, him returning the expression. "You're beautiful," he whispered, and she came closer, their arms wrapping around one another. Taehyung kissed the top of her head and twirled a strand of her hair. He thought this was going to be hot, but he was fine that it wasn't. He didn't need to be making out constantly to gain pleasure from his relationship. Her being curled up on his chest was more than enough.

"Tae?" she asked, peeping up at him.

He glanced back down, not caring about the alleyway being creepy. "What is it?"

"I think I love you." His jaw almost fell on the ground, and she buried her head against him thanks to his reaction, her hair sticking up in ten different directions. "Shit, that was so fucking embarrassing," she mumbled, Taehyung regaining his senses and chuckling. She heard the soft noise and moved back, knitting her brows together. "Is this a dream?"

"I'm asking myself the same thing." He leaned down and kissed her lips, the woman stiffening in his grasp. When he parted from her, he kept his hands on her cheeks, cupping her face. She gave him wide eyes that sparkled in the dim lighting the alleyway provided, and Taehyung felt his stomach flipping over and over again. "I'm in love with you, Y/n."

"Tae..." She placed her hands over his, their bodies still pressed together. "I'm in love with you too, Taehyung. You're the best guy I know, and I'm sorry if I've ever been rude to you in the past. You're perfect the way you are, and I hope I make you feel loved, always."

"You do, that's why I'm with you. I'm not a very smart man, believe it or not. But I do know my worth, and shit, I'm not even close to good enough for you."

She snickered and rubbed the backs of his hands. "You realize I'm about to say the same thing about you, right?"

"Yeah, I know," he said with a small sigh of relief, "and there's nothing wrong with that."

As if moving in-sync, their lips pressed back on each other's, Tae handling her like she would crack under the touch of his fingertips. She moaned into it, him mimicking the noise and letting her do whatever she desired to his body. She chose to rub his sides, his back pinned to the alley wall. Tae sucked in a breath. Y/n did the same, the two becoming littered with sweat.

"I think we should get home, now," Tae said, pecking her lips over and over.

"Mm, yeah, we should," she replied, trying her best to speak in between his attacks. She cackled as he kept going, closing his eyes and sweeping her back into a passionate kiss. His girl accepted, kissing back with the same emotions he was. Her hand rested on his chest, feeling his heartbeat. Tae prayed it felt okay. Sounded okay, too.

That kiss only lasted a few more seconds. When they departed each other's lips, Tae blew out a stream of air, letting the wind dance across her nose. "Maybe we can take the long way instead. It's a nice night. What do you say?" he asked, taking her hands and kissing the backs of them.

Y/n gazed at him, and in that moment, Taehyung let the serenity wash over him. He revealed a boxy smile that had her giggling. And soon enough, they were both laughing at each other's dumbness, their bodies never parting. Hell, Tae barely wanted their lips to be separated, but he knew they had to get home eventually. Eventually though. Maybe that could mean a few more minutes. Speaking of, Y/n shook her head, opening her mouth to answer...

"You know what Kim? Let's do it."
