I walked in behind the rest of my team, well behind my brother specifically meaning I got a great view of Ino's ass when she shoved it in my face while jumping on my brothers back causing me to fall over in a bisexual panic putting everyone's attention on me
Their faces going from confused from who fell over and why to worry after they saw all my scars
hinata ran over and sat by my side
"Oh my god Natsuki are you ok"
she asked sounding like a worried mother
"ya I'm fine I just fell"
I replied about to get up
"no I mean all your scars what happened, when, where, how, who"
she asked sounding more and more worried as the other grew closer
"so where was on a miss ranked mission when was 4 weeks ago how was a fight who was Zabuza Momichi an A rank criminal and what was almost dieing after being thrown around like a rag doll but I put up a good fight"
I said standing only to be almost knocked over by a hugging Ino, Hinata and Choji
"guys I'm fine"
I said squeezing away because I don't like hugs
"Well, well all ten rookies together"
said shikamaru walking over until he saw me
"Nat what happened"
he asked calling me by my nickname, shikamaru was one of the few I liked to hang out with after training, we didn't talk, just cloud watched in silence
"fight with A rank criminal on mission"
I sighed
"hehe this is gonna be fun, atleast for the ones good enough to make the cut right Sasuke, and you to Natsuki"
Said Kiba winking at me, he's always had a thing for me like most of the other guys and that made sasuke his enemy because he wasn't even allowed within 5 feet of me according to Nii-Chan
"Don't get cocky"
said Nii-Chan glaring at the boy with a dog on his head
"we're gonna kick your guys butts we've been training like crazy"
he said trying to sound cool and failing
"what do you think we've been doing, picking daisy's"
said baka blond over there and Hinata started telling Kiba how Naruto didn't mean it
for some reason Choji started walking over to Kiba until Shino stopped him looking at the ground at where a bug was crossing
"I didn't want you to step on it"
he said and some guy who looked older than us with silver hair walked over
"Hey guys you might wanna keep it down you are the ten rookies right, I wouldn't go making a target of yourselves just cool it, this isn't a field trip"
he said earning a glare from me
"and who are you glasses"
I said already not liking him
"I'm Kabuto Yakushi, but take a look around you've made quite an impression"
he said and we looked around and saw all the opponents looking at us
"see those ones, their from the rain village, very touchy they all are, this exam makes everyone tense you don't wanna rub them the wrong way right now, but you don't know you're just rookies like I was a while back"
he said and i rose my eyebrow
"kabuto, right, this isn't the first time you've taken the exam"
I asked
"nope it's my seventh, there held twice a year so it's my fourth year"
he said rubbing the back of his neck
"oh so you have a lot of info"
said pinky
"ya you're an expert, you can give us all the inside tips"
said Naruto getting up in kabuto's face
"ya expert has still hasn't passed meaning his info is probably useless"
I said not liking this guys vibe
"well seventh times the charm"
he said once again rubbing the back of his neck
"Maybe I can help you newby's out a bit with my,"
he paused pulling out a pack of cards
"ninja info cards"
He finished
"what the hell are those"
asked the oblivious pinkette
"it's hard to explain but these cards are chakra encoded with all the info I've learned over the passed four years"
he said putting the deck of cards on the ground and fliping it over
'Nerd, nerd, boring, boring, kill me'
I thought just wishing for him to leave
"to the naked eye they're completely blank but once I do this"
he said putting two fingers on the card and it started spinning until a map of how many people from each village were here
"why do you guys think all the nations send ninja here at the same time and place anyway"
he asked and no one replied
"It's to foster friendship, International brotherhood, but it's also so they can keep an eye and keep track of how many pass from each village to keep the power levels equal"
at this point I was so bored and tired I just walked into a corner of the room and sat down
"what's up with ravenette over there"
he asked the other, watching me spin a kunai on my finger
"she's just having a bad day"
said Nii-Chan and asked if his cards had individual info and when it was confirmed he asked about Lee and Gaara, apparently Lee is really good at taijutsu but not nin or genjutsu and Gaara came back from every mission without a scratch even a B rank mission as a genin but now my ears were tired and I actually stopped listening
I was just chilling until I heard Naruto yell to everyone else about he's gonna win and blah blah blah
having enough of his shit and a bad day I grabbed him in a head lock and apologized to everyone else
I saw a couple of sound ninja run at kabuto one threw kunai which he dodged and another went at him with his fist, I ran over in front of kabuto and just as the sound nin swung his fist I kicked him back into a table, a minutes later I felt I had to puke
'of course, their sound nin, they use vibrational attacks'
though and curled over, I didn't puke though because honestly I feel this pain every month (if you know you know) so I just stood back up after a minute and the sound nin looked at me shocked
"so it was that kind of attack huh"
I said and a huge cloud of smoke appeared in the middle of the room and once it cleared it showed a lot of jonin standing there, one I immediately recognized as Ibiki Morino head of the interrogation and torture force
let's just say he's seen me scare the truth out of more than a few people, on the street and in the interrogation office
"I am Ibiki Morino your proctor for the first exam and from this point on your worst enemy"
he said and stared scolding the sound nin and telling us about the first exam and how it's a written test and all that, I just went up and traded my paper in for my number and sat down waiting for the test to begin
