Chapter 42: yukimaru

"you six, stay here and hold down the fort"

Guren said and jumped off to orochimaru's hide out

After she left I almost immediately got into a fight with all of them, not a fist fight, a verbal fight

I of course win because I never lose

Many hours later of training and such we decided it would be a good idea to relax and play some games so we started playing poker

I in total won 134,119.05 yen (1'000$)playing

"You aren't cheating, are you girl"

One of them said and I rolled my eyes and said

"No but that guys suit is reflective so I can see his cards, you have a terrible poker face, that guy isn't playing and he's just unlucky"

I said pointing to each of them individually pointing out their flaws that made me need to catch a punch flying straight at my face

"I'm not allowed to hurt you, but I won't hesitate to kill you"

I said pushing away his hand and went and sat down in the corner to trace the wood lines and they all continued playing when the one that wasn't playing said

"She's late"

And one of them got up and walked over to him and said

"Wanna play, it's a good way to kill time"

And he was met with silence

"Ignoring me huh, well that's fine but it's a little surprising, I can't believe you're still here, waiting on guren, you just seem so defiant, would've thoughts you would use this excuse to escape"

He said and I chimed in from across the room

"He's no match for me, none of you are escaping"

And then the conversation somehow turned into them talking about how the others banded together into a group to survive and then eventually one of them went out on patrol and I secretly out a tracked on him

Not even twenty minutes later the other one went after him

The next morning they came back and started talking about an enemy following them

"They left dog tracks, so I doubt they're akasuki"

When he said that something clicked

I thought and hid a smile k owing my team is still looking for me

Around mid afternoon a thunderstorm started and since I was the o my one who could use fire style and not set the whole shack on fire it was up to me to keep everyone warm

And since the shack is so run down it's full of holes so I used my cloak to cover up some of the bigger holes leaving me in just my shorts and long sleeve fishnet shirt (not the see through kind)

The others just kept on complaining about how late guren is and I kept on getting flash backs of my team complaining about how late sensei always was

My memories and flashbacks of them had been more often ever since they found us at the hideout

The next morning that rain had stopped but everything was soaked, none of the guys woke up and I grabbed my cloak that still had a pool of water in it and dumped it on them making them all jolt awake

This started an argument that I won and we waited two hours playing some more poker when guren finally showed up with this little blond boy with hair down to his lower back

"I'm back, thanks for keeping them all here Natsuki"

She said and I replied with my signature "hn" and turned my head, after that action I noticed she grew an irl mark that made me smirk

Guren came and sat down but when the boy followed as soon as he sat down he looked at me and asked

"Hey, which one do you like better, red Camilla or white ones"

And I just rose an eyebrow then turned to guren

"Whos the kid"

I asked and she introduced him as yukimaru, aparently this was my mission, to protect some brat, I'm not a babysitter, kids hate me

"Listen up, lord orochimaru gave us a very important mission, we have to deliver this boy to a lake safely, mistakes will not be tolerated, even you Uchiha, I don't care if your important to lord orochimaru"

She said and I rolled my eyes and seethed with an evil smirk

"Try me, slut"

She looked pissed again but went back to her little speech

"However, a group of strangers have followed us from the hideout"

And one of the other guys said

"Very perceptive of you guren, however we've already looked into it, there are four ninjas and a ninja hound, Giza and u identified the mutts paw prints, right now, three of them and the dog are a couple of kilometres away from where we are right now, slowly making their way here"

And guren got into a defensive position and said through clenched teeth

"They found us, what's wrong with Kihou's jutsu"

And he replied assuringly

"Don't worry, I'm sure Kihou made the dogs nose completely useless"

And guren thought for a moment before saying

"I see, these shinobi have high level tracking that must mean they're from the leaf village"

And I almost immediately said

"If they are leaf shinobi then I know exactly who they are, Kiba inuzuka, neji or hinata hyuga and Shino aburame, Kiba is the one with the dog, akamaru, they both have fantastic noses, neji and hinata have the byakugan and they can see almost everything, their eyes have no blond spot and Shino has parasitic insects that are great at tracking"

And when I finished I noticed all eyes on me

"I was a leaf shinobi"

I said and they all looked back to guren

"What do we do"

One of them asked and another second later guren said again

"I know just the thing, when I'm through, they won't be following us anymore"
