Chapter 40: new mission

Natsuki POV

I was walking to orochimaru's meeting room where he would meet with visitors and go to talk to kabuto privately

I knocked twice and heard kabuto answer me to come in so I opened the door and saw him sitting there on his throne and then he turned to kabuto and said

"I have an idea, how about you take Natsuki with you, to escort her"

And after he said that my eyes widened but I shook it off and asked when our next training session would be and he replied

"After you get back from your mission dear"

And my eyebrows shot to the sky

'I've never gone on a mission, not since I got here'

I thought and re-composed myself and asked

"Who are we escorting, and why is she important enough to need me"

And orochimaru just chuckled

"You see dear, we need her special ability, and even though she's strong enough to handle herself, you never know"

He said and kabuto signalled for me to follow him out

I followed him down the hall until we came to mine and Nii-Chan new room, he opened the door and handed me a bag and told me to pack some things, only the essentials

I packed a change of clothes and some medicinal herbs, I grabbed my weapons pouch and I was about to walk out before I turned back around and picked up my notebook

I pulled out a page and wrote a letter to Nii-Chan letting him know I'm going on a mission so he wouldn't worry to much

We walked out of the base and he handed me a cloak to hide my identity and we began out long, long walk to find this, apparently crystal user

We were almost there, walking along a mountain ledge, at one point kabuto stopped and looked up, a minute later he jumped up onto this higher platform and I followed

We continued until we made it to an open mouth cave

A moment later massive crystal spikes came raining down on us and we dodged my inches only to be met by small crystal shuriken

Kabuto used some kind of jutsu were he coats is hand in chakra and I pulled out my katana and and charged it with electricity making easier to cut the crystal

After we dodged and sliced to crystal kabuto turned to the cave and said

"Not a very friendly greeting, guren"

And a feminine chuckle came from the cave as who I'm assuming is Guren walked out

"It's only you kabuto, I thought it might be an intruder, who's the girl"

She asked and kabuto said

"She's orochimaru's next body if everything goes according to plan, her names Natsuki Uchiha"

She nodded and said

"So she must be strong if she's enough to be worthy of hosting lord orochimaru"

And I made a flawless clone without anyone knowing and appeared behind her silently and whispered in her ear

"I'm stronger than strong"

And when she turned around in shock I was back to my original spot and she looked at me shocked then smirked

"First time in a while anyone has snuck up on me, come on"

She said and we followed her through the cave into a stone hall and walked until we reached a clearing that was about 30 feet deep and had prison cells stacked on prison cells stacked on more prison cells

Soon kabuto turned his head to face her and said

"Our master has need of you Guren"

And she looked at him shocked and said

"Lord orochimaru!?"

And I rolled my eyes and said sarcastically

"No the muffin man, who do you think"

And kabuto jabbed me in the side with his elbow and Guren glared at me to which I glared back until she looked away

He told her why we're here and then she laughed loudly the jumped down to the bottom of the whole were the prison cels all face

"Is that so, so he hasn't forgotten me! When he sent me to look out in this stupid hole in the middle of nowhere I thought he had gotten rid of me!"

She yelled as kabuto jumped down and I soon followed

"Well I'm glad to see you find this so amusing Guren"

He said and she stated to herself

"So a mayday huh, screams of agony, blood everywhere, wonderful"

And I just rolled my eyes unnoticed at the annoying woman I was with placed to help protect some kid

"Well we do need some left over for our lords experiments, at some point the girl won't be here"

Kabuto said implying me and she nodded and yelled at all the prisoners

"ALRIGHT BOYS YOU HEARD THE MAN, IF YOU WANT TO BREATH OPEN AIR YOU'LL HAVE T FIGHT FOR IT, SURVIVE THIS AND YOU'LL BE SERVANTS OF LORD OROCHIMARU UNDER MY COMMAND, ITS YOUR LUCKY DAY, LETS GET STARTED"

And when she finished her sentence the cage doors open and the prisoners come crawling out, when they all made it to the arena all three of us jumped up to watch the scene unfold

Kabuto went back to the hide out to grab the kid and left me alone with Guren and the boys

I watched as the slashed, sliced, smashed and squished the other until few remained

We jumped down and one tried to attack me but it was killed with a metal wire I threw around one of the torches and used to hang him from the ceiling until he suffocated

"That's enough massacre, if anyone if you wanna save yourself come work for me!"

Guren says to the ones that remained and none of them moved

"Alright then follow us!"

She said and we jumped up to the original platform and started walking.
