Arriving at the kanagawa station, Kiyo found herself very lost.
The station supported several shinkansen, or bullet trains, and was on the main railway that went through Japan. It was kinda big.
Thousands of people moved around her, all of them rushing around to wherever. She moved with the crowd, not able to call Chuuya because it was much too noisy to be heard.
She wandered around for some minutes, fearing herself to be lost. Finding a map, Kiyo examined it thoroughly. The shinkansen to Tokyo.
Found it. Kiyo memorized the instructions, and followed them to heart. Once there, she was at a loss again.
She needed tickets. The shinkansen were expensive, and Kiyo had had only a couple thousand yen left on her. The ticket cost ¥14050 each way...
Kiyo sighed, moving off to the side as to not disturb the crowd. She looked at her phone, hoping for any texts.
"No luck?" Chuuya said.
Kiyo jumped, surprised. He held a single bag and a brief case, and was slyly grinning. Kiyo took the bag, but Chuuya kept the briefcase.
"I thought I was lost," Kiyo said, not at all proud. She did hold on to the fact that she rarely ever used trains to begin with, however being lost was still embarrassing.
Chuuya smirked, "Well now you can get around stations just fine."
"I guess so."
They paid for tickets and boarded the shinkansen. Kiyo put the bag, which was filled with several changes of clothes and daily necessities, above her and Chuuya's seat. She sat by the window, Chuuya sitting beside her.
The seats were very comfortable.
"So why are we going to Tokyo?" Kiyo asked. She couldn't completely hide her enthusiasm; she had never been there before.
"To seal an agreement with another corporation," Chuuya said, knocking his hat forwards like usual.
"Agreement?-"
"Yes, one that could very well decide the Port Mafia's future." Koyo Ozaki walked up the aisle. Chuuya raised his head, "Ane-sama,' he greeted.
Koyo sat in the seat across from Kiyo. She wore full formal wear instead of the usual kimono. Resting her hands on the table between them, Koyo explained their little expedition.
They were dealing with a big corporation that tracks an incredible percentage of Hokkaido's drugs and illegal weapons. The mafia did much trading with them.
"So then why are we meeting with them?"
"We've been catching wind of many rumors." Chuuya started, but Koyo finished for him. "My torture squad found that the corporation has been cheating us out. Long story short, it's been decided that we'll either buy the corporation out or take them by force," Koyo flicked her fingers, seemingly bored.
"So we're just... expanding our influence?" Kiyo said.
"Pretty much, yeah," Chuuya said.
Kiyo thought for a moment. "So then why am I coming?"
Chuuya looked down at her. "To enjoy the view," he said sarcastically.
"Chuuya-kun, don't be like that," Koyo lectured. Chuuya sighed.
"Mori wants me to assign you to a permanent role in the mafia, so we're just seeing what your best at."
"Oh, I see," Kiyo remarked. She looked out the window, and blinked in the fast-moving scenery. It had been so smooth that she hadn't known that they had departed, and if the window wasn't there, she wouldn't have known that they were moving at all. An amazed breath escaped Kiyo; Koyo giggled, pulling her papers to her face.
Sorry that I haven't posted in awhile! Been busy with them studies
