We had just back home and I was reading on Antonio's bed as he walked in, "ugh I'm so glad to be home" Antonio said I giggled a bit "you had fun though, right?" I asked, "well I had more fun than I thought" Antonio replied "oh and that movie ugh" he said, "sorry I probably should have picked a better movie" I laughed. Then Antonio sat on the bed, drying his hair with a towel, "hey I was wondering-" he said but my thought drowned out the sound. My face went red, I've barely seen him with his shirt off but when he did I didn't mind, but for some reason now it was different.
He turned back to look at me, I just tried to hide my face in my book, "what are you reading?" He asked "a tale of two cities" I replied "I went in the library and I've already read most of the books in there" I said, "nerd" Antonio replied as he put on his shirt, "you're so mean!" I said punching Antonio lightly in the arm, "argh" Antonio groaned, "oh come on I didn't even punch you hard" I said, "no it's my head"Antonio replied, I put my hands on his forehead, "I think you have a fever!" I said, then Antonio put his head on my shoulder, "I'm really hot" he mumbled, then he took my hands and put them back on his face, my face went red.
A couple minutes later, Antonio was in bed and definitely sick. "Are you feeling better?" I asked "mhm yeah" he replied kind of mumbling, "well it's really late, I better go to bed" I said and walked away, I could feel Antonio grab my hand "stay with me" he said softly, I blushed and said "um idk Antonio" "just lay down next to me" he said.
I laid down next to Antonio, it was kind of awkward, I mean it probably shouldn't be but it was. Then Antonio put his arms around me "I love you" he mumbled softly, my face was super red, I eventually got comfortable I said "I love you too" as I closed my eyes.
The next day
I woke up with the sunlight coming from the window, shining on my face. Antonio was right beside me, his eyes fluttered and he woke up. "Oh sorry did I wake you?" I asked, "no it's fine" he replied, I smiled. Then I heard Antonio's mom coming up the stairs, "satang (sweetie)!" She said as she walked up. I jumped up "she can't know I was in here!" I said, "here hide!" Antonio replied, I tried to run to hide somewhere but I ended up bumping into Antonio and he fell on top of me. Then Antonio's mom opened the door, "hey you're sister is gon-" she said but then paused and stared at us, "I knew it you are dating!" She said, we quickly jumped up and our faces were super red. "How long?" She asked excited, "um like almost a month" Antonio replied, "I always knew you guys liked each other!" She exclaimed "anyways your sister and her fiancé are coming to visit" She said, "their coming today."
A few hours later Antonio's sister, Adelina, came. "Hi my amazing family!" She said, "Adelina!" Antonio's mom said and hugged her, "little brother!" She said happily and hugged Antonio, "ahh! Cathalina!" She said and hugged me, "I haven't seen you in so long! Look how grown up you are!" She said, I chuckled nervously.
"Anyways everyone meet my amazing fiancé, Jason!"'Adelina said, then a man walked in, he was really tall and had blonde hair and green eyes.
At dinner time we were all at the table, me, Antonio, Antonio's mom, Adelina, and Jason. Adelina was going on about her life in America, it sounded really cool. "You know Cathalina is gonna go to a university in America" Antonio's mom said, "oh really what university, Cathy?" Adelina asked me, "um brown" I said, "oh that's amazing!" She replied happy, "so Antonio, Cathy I was wondering" Adelina said, "are you guys dating yet?" She asked, me and Antonio looked at each other, our faces super red, "uh um y-no" Antonio said, "yeah" I said, "Cathy!" Antonio said, "what she was gonna find out sooner or later" I replied, "y-yeah b-but" Antonio replied stuttering, Adelina hugged Antonio, "aw my little brother is in love! And with his childhood friend!" She said happily, "Noona!" Antonio replied. It was so nice to see Adelina again! Oh you're such a fool Cathalina! Adelina here is living your dream! You know the one where you live in America and live a cool life, oh but looks like it will never happen!
It was night and everyone was about to go to sleep, I had to sleep with Antonio since Adelina and her fiancé were staying in my room, I honestly don't even know if I can call it my room. It was Adelina's before.
