Part 17

July 18, 2005

It was almost Antonio's birthday, I was trying really hard to figure out what to get him.

I was in a store trying to pick something, then someone touched my shoulder it kind of scared me and I jumped a bit. "Hi Cathy!" It was Lucia, I was so relieved to see that it was just Lucia and not a creepy person. "Hi Lucia, you kind of scared me" I said chuckling a bit, "so what are you shopping for?" Lucia asked, I blushed a bit thinking about Antonio, "um nothing just looking" I replied, I was to embarrassed to tell Lucia that I was shopping for a present for Antonio.

Lucia paused for a bit and then said "are you maybe looking for a birthday present for Antonio?" She asked, "u-um n-yeah" I thought maybe Lucia could help me pick out a present for him so I just told her, "well then I'll help you!" She said happily.

We were walking through the store, "so what does Antonio like?" Lucia asked, "hmm well Antonio likes photography" I replied, "well then here's the perfect thing!" Lucia said as she grabbed my hand and ran towards the back of the store, her curly hair bouncing as she ran, "here!" She said as she handed my a box, it said 'Canon EOS 350D' "it's the lates camera, it just came out in February" Lucia said.

July 21, 2005

We were all getting ready for the party, it was a surprise party so I was supposed to have Antonio out while they set up for the party. I was kind of excited, I mean this is me and Antonio's first real date alone, just thinking about it makes me feel so happy.

I quietly walked into his room, he was still sleeping, I walked over to his bed and just looked at him. He smiled with his eyes still closed, "you really are creepy!" He said as he sat up, I giggled a bit, "happy birthday" I said and kiss him on the cheek making us both blush.

We had a really nice day, we went to the arcade, the mall, and the amusement park. But when we're at the amusement park, we were walking and the whole day we were just acting like friends, we still hadn't really acted like a couple. "Hey let's go on that one!" I said as I pointed to a roller coaster half way cross the park, "that girl is pretty hot" I heard someone say, me and Antonio both looked, "yeah but isn't that her bf?" The other guy asked, "probably not they don't really look like a couple" he replied. I was kind of sad, I really love Antonio but why am I too embarrassed to show it, even when we're alone. "Hey Cathy" Antonio said and grabbed my waist, pulled me close, and kissed me. We stopped kissing, "what was that for?" I asked blushing and putting a piece of hair behind my ear, "what I can't kiss my girlfriend" he said as he grabbed my hand and we kept walking.

As we sat down in the roller coaster cart, Antonio said "why do you want to go on such a big roller coaster?" He asked anxiously, "we can get off if you want" I replied, "yes please" he said and I was about to get up when the guy put down the bar and the ride started.

"I'm sorry Antonio" I said, "oh i-it's fine I-I'll be fine" he replied, I grabbed his hand. Antonio had never really like scary stuff, he doesn't like horror movies or big roller coasters and I'm pretty sure he's afraid of the dark.

It was about to be the big drop, I looked over at Antonio, he looked really scared, I was honestly excited but I felt bad. The cart came to a stop, creak creak, it was about to drop, creak it went again, my heard started beating, ba-dup ba-dup, and drop. People started screaming and laughing, wind blew throw my long red hair, I think I might have hit someone in the face, I put my hands up in the air, it felt like flying.

After the ride was over, the cart came to a stop, I look over at Antonio and he's kind of pale, "A-Antonio are you ok?" I asked worried, I helped him off the ride, he looked like he was gonna throw up and he was really dizzy. I helped him to the trash can where he did eventually throw up.

Hours past and the sky turned gold, we were about to leave, as we walked out of the park I heard someone behind me, "yeah that's Cathalina Bianchi" a girl said, "ew is that he bf? She literally has a new bf like every month, what a slut" the other girl said. I stopped walking and my eyes widened, did I hear that right? "Hey are you ok?" Antonio asked, "oh yeah I'm fine" I replied, "oh yeah I'm fine" I heard one of the girls go in a higher pitch, mimicking me.

We walked up the porch, I kind of forgot about the party for a sec, we walked in and everyone yelled, "surprised!" Antonio kind of jumped, "oh h-hi" he said, I giggled softly, "hey don't laugh!" He said, "I didn't laugh!" I said trying to keep it in, "yeah you did you meanie!" He said, then I just busted out laughing, "m-meanie!" I quoted through laughing, "hey!" Lucia said from across the room, "it's a 19 year olds party so I'm here to get drunk!" She said, and I laughed even more.

The party was pretty fun, better than mine because there was no Mario and no fighting. Lucia was already kind of drunk "hey guys let's play truth or dare!" She said, "Lucia that's for like little kids" Carlo said, "hey you didn't let me finish, it adult truth or dare!" She replied "also it ironic" she said.

We all did end up play truth or dare, "I'll start" Lucia said, "hmm" she said as she looked around at everyone, "Cathy! Truth or dare" she asked "oh um, truth" I replied, "ugh it's just like you to pick truth" she said, "um when did you start to have a crush on Antonio?" She asked in a teasing tone, I looked at Antonio at blushed, "oh um well I didn't realize it till like April but I feel I liked him long before but didn't realize it" I replied, "aw you guys are so cute!" Lucia said, "ok um Carlo truth or dare?" I asked my brother, "um dare" Carlo replied, "I dare you to start dating Lucia" I said, Carlo's face went a bit red, "ok um Lucia will you be my gf?" He asked as he turned to her, "oh hell yes!" Lucia said happily and kissing Carlo. I smiled it's about time they dated.

The party was so fun, I did drink a little but not as much as I did at my party.
