It was winter now and very cold, and it was almost Christmas. Lucia and Carlo have been living here in Rhode Island for about 8 months, and it's really nice because we're neighbors.
I was at home waiting for Antonio, it was evening time and getting colder. Then Antonio walked in, "Cathy!" He said, I ran up to him and hugged him, "I have something very special to tell you" he said, "what is it?" I asked, "well tomorrow I'm gonna take you on a date" he said, "yay!" I said. Me and Antonio hadn't been on a date in so long, probably in like 2 years!
The next day
Me and Antonio were walking down the street, "so where are we going?" I asked, "well we're going to a few places" Antonio replied, "but first..." he said and pointed to the sign, I looked up and it said 'ice skating'.
When we got our skates on we went out on the ice. There was a lot of people there, it was so cool though! "I know how much you love ice skating" Antonio said, "well I mean I did used to be a figure skater" I said and chuckled, "why don't you show us something" Antonio replied, I put my leg up in the air and did a simple spiral. "Not to bad but how about you try a spin" he said, I gigged a bit and I did a toe loop, but then I accidentally bumped into someone, "oops sorry" I said and then turned around, it was one of those girls that used to make fun of me in university, "ugh what the hell!" She said, and then saw me "omg Cathalina! I haven't seen you since we graduated!" She said, they had started being nice to me when they found out my mom was famous. "Oh is that your hot bf- I mean your bf" she said, "I know my bf is hot, now I get to go" I said and grabbed Antonio's hand and we walked away.
Later we went sledding and we saw all the Christmas lights. It was getting to be night already and me and Antonio we walking home. "Oh I almost forgot something" he said and ran into a store right next to us. A few minutes later he came out with something behind his back, "close your eyes" he said, I giggled and closed my eyes, "what is it?" I asked, then Antonio put whatever was behind his back in front of me and said "ok open your eyes." I opened my eyes and in front of me was a bouquet of red sunflowers, my favorite flowers. "Aw Antonio how did you know?" I asked, "I've known you for almost 15 years, how would I not know?" He chuckled, and I hugged Antonio. When we started walking again, Antonio had stopped and he started sneezing a lot, "A-Antonio are you ok?!" I asked worried, "y-yeah I'm fine" he replied, "a-are you catching a cold?!" I asked worried, "n-no I-it's just...I'm allergic to sunflowers" he said, "what?!" I said and threw the flowers, "no, why did you do that?" He said, "oh Antonio you don't need to give me dumb flowers!" I said, "I know that you already love me" I said and kissed him on the cheek, "who told you that?" He joked, "Antonio!" I said angrily and elbowed him.
We got home and Antonio said "hold on I've got one more surprise for you" and he grabbed my hand and we went up to the roof, it was really cold up there, but then I realized. There was fake candles everywhere and it was so pretty. "Antonio!" I said and I hugged him. Then Antonio put on a slow song to dance to. I started to giggle "you're so cheesy!" I laughed, "well then I guess I'm cheesy" he replied and held out his hand, I grabbed it and we started to dance.
I put my head on Antonio's shoulder, "I love you" he whispered, "I love you too" I replied and we kept swaying along to the song. After a few minutes, we were still dancing and it was so nice, it was so cold outside but Antonio holding me close kept me warm. I kept my head rested on his shoulder and said "w-will you marry me?" "What?!" Antonio said shocked, and looked at me like I was crazy, "you heard me" I said with my face red. Antonio paused for a minute and then replied, "yes."

It was nighttime, about 22:00. A woman with red hair and green eyes who looked to be about late 20s or early 30s was sitting on a twin size bed as a little girl with slightly darker red hair and brown eyes, who was about 10 or 11 was sitting next to her cover up.
"And what happened after they got married?!" The little girl asked intrigued, "well they had a beautiful little girl named Francesca" The red-headed woman replied, the little girl gasped "that's my name!" She said excitedly. Then a man walked in, he was asian and had black hair and brown eyes, he was holding a baby girl who looked to be about 1 or 2, she had similar dark red hair to the other little girl and dark green eyes. "Cathalina are you almost done?" He asked in Italian, the little girl gasped again, "mamma you have the same name as the girl in the story!" She said, then she gasped again, "I-is that story about how you and papá got together?!" She asked, Cathalina nodded, and Francesa squealed, "were you telling the story of how we got together?" Antonio asked, "yeah and mommy said that you used to be best friends and then you kisseddddd" she said, "ok Cesca it's time for bed, you have school tomorrow" Cathy said, "ok goodnight Mamma and papá" Francesca replied.
