As Chen Ming hurriedly rolled aside, a hand poked out of the ground where he was lying.

If one had a close look, he or she could see that several fingernails had fallen off and the flesh at the joints was mostly rotten, exposing the black bones. The remaining flesh was green.

However, Chen Ming had no time to observe the zombie’s “delicate hand”. While it was moaning and climbing out, Chen Ming ran further. The stench the

zombie brought couldn’t even be covered by the rain, and it lingered for a long

time.

Chen Ming was concerned about being exposed. He half squatted and pulled out the peach wood sword. Seeing the zombie’s big size, he stood up to protect himself.

The rain poured down on the zombie and turned into black water. It was either mud or something else and disgusting.

The sky exploded with lightning. One man and one corpse looked rather conspicuous in the flat flower field.

The villagers in other sheds saw clearly what happened. They looked at each other for a while and flooded out in anger.

Chen Ming glanced at the group gradually approaching, but there was no time to deal with them. The zombie opened his lipless mouth and rushed over.

“Oh yo,” Chen Ming quickly dodged, teasing, “How long haven’t you brushed your teeth, little brother? Look at your yellow teeth.”

It was hard to tell whether the zombie understood it, but it turned around and shouted at Chen Ming.

Chen Ming ignored its threat. He seized the opportunity to stab the sword into its mouth, and shouted back, “Shut up!”

The previous mighty roar turned into a frustrated whimper. The zombie’s throat seemed to have been hit with a hot iron, and it burned with a sizzling sound. It struggled to grab the sword with its hands, but the sword burned most of its fingers.

Chen Ming lost patience and did not bother to see the zombie struggling. He took out the sword and waved. The wooden sword, which looked like a collection item or a piece of decoration, easily chopped off the zombie’s head like a sharp

iron blade cutting mud.

The zombie fell to the ground, melted into black water in seconds, and seeped into the earth.

The fight ended in less than a minute.

Chen Ming gasped as the villagers gradually circled him. He gave up resistance, threw the sword, and raised his hands above his head.

There were many ways to deal with zombies and ghosts, but Chen Ming had no other weapons except his fists when fighting with human beings. He could only surrender.

The flashlight fell straight on his face. He squinted and turned his head away.

Just now there were two figures, and now there was only one. The headman believed there were other accomplices and ordered his men to look for them, leaving only three with Chen Ming.

The leader picked up the sword. He couldn’t figure out Chen Ming’s intention and asked sharply, “What are you doing here?”

Chen Ming pursed his mouth and said, “Let’s be honest, you planted poppies on ancestral graves and gathered grievances. The zombies will break the ground tonight. I’m here to help. Hey!”

The leader didn’t wait for him to finish. He suddenly grabbed both ends of the sword, lifted his leg, and slammed it against his knee. The sword broke into two pieces and they were thrown on the ground.

Chen Ming froze. The deeper frown showed that he was even angrier now. He gritted his teeth and said, “Fuck, say whatever you want, why did you break my sword?”

“Fuck you!” The man was very emotional and he looked around for something, “You know about the poppies. Then you can’t leave!”

He took the scythe from his sidekick and lunged at Chen Ming.
