Ming didn’t step backward. He suddenly leaned back to dodge the sharp scythe, and

then kicked hard on the belly of the leading villager.

The man

cried out in pain and fell heavily.

“Do you know how much

I paid for that authentic peach wood sword, you son of a bitch?” Chen Ming

cursed as the villager fell. The irritable young

man couldn’t bear it anymore because he was interrupted and his sword

was destroyed. He decided to take out his anger.

Seeing

their leader had been kicked, the two sidekicks waved their fists at the

menacing Chen Ming.

Chen

Ming was not stupid. He immediately changed his arrogant look and ran.

He was

so fast that the two sidekicks were stunned for a second and then began chasing.

The

rain was too heavy and the ground was muddy. They staggered in the rain. Many poppies were trampled down and the

villagers became angrier.

The

rain and the deep thunder in the distance drowned out a lot of noises, and no

one noticed that the situation on the mountain had become more dangerous. When

the thunder was heard overhead again, in a twinkle, the surroundings were suddenly lit up. Chen Ming was startled by the things in front of him and stopped.

The

wide flower field was full of figures hobbling. Most of their limbs were

incomplete. A glance could tell they were very dangerous.

In less than a second, the light disappeared. Chen Ming swallowed and slowly turned

around. Sure enough, the two villagers saw the same. They stared in disbelief

and froze.

“Those…

What are those…”

The strange figures were hidden in the

darkness. However, if one listened carefully, you could vaguely catch the muffled

voices like complaints.

“Zombies, zombie herd.” Chen Ming

was poker-faced, “Now you believe me?”

“What?” They exclaimed and began to tremble.

“I

know.” Chen Ming sneered, “Do you want to go and greet your grandfather?”

No normal

person would be as “optimistic” as him.

The two

of them were frightened and rushed back. One almost sprained his foot.

He rummaged in the mud for a while and regained his balance. He caught up with

his panicky companion, and left the flashlight behind.

Chen Ming didn’t leave. He still needed to work.

“Alright,

Xiaobai, you’re good at assigning tasks to me. You really think highly of me.” As he

spoke to himself, he went over to pick up the flashlight. He calmly wiped the

mud off the lampshade and raised the flashlight.

A

zombie over two meters tall was slowly approaching.

Chen

Ming looked at the huge body and said calmly, “Looks like

you’re the boss?”

The

zombie had a slightly crooked mouth. An eyeball was missing, and there were some

black hairs on its arms, back and head. Under the light, the overall momentum

was different from the little green man before.

“Let

me tell you. Don’t hide your trick for growing hair. If you share it with your

bald little buddies, you will be more popular.” Chen Ming realized this

was a 1000-year-old zombie and it was not easy to deal with. So he teased while retreating, “Don’t run about like a fool all the time… Oh my!”

It was

uncertain whether the zombie understood what he said. It was suddenly provoked.

It grimaced and jumped at Chen Ming.

Chen

Ming jumped to one side, rolled in the mud, and got up smoothly.

The

zombie swooped and plunged into the mud.

Chen

Ming reached back: “Hey, take my peach wood..” As he

said, his hand was empty. His face turned pale. He turned back and saw

nothing before he realized that the sword had been broken by a son of a

bitch.

The zombie had stuck its head out and made a low and angry roar at Chen

Ming.

“Too

bad. Goodbye.”  Chen Ming immediately threw a few spells and ran.

Wherever

the spells fell, there were flames. But it seemed that the zombie was barely hurt, and the burnt body parts quickly healed.

The zombie then broke through the heatwave and chased after Chen Ming.
