The explosion wasn’t hurtful, but it

could temporarily slow it down. It earned Chen Ming the necessary time.

Chen Ming bit the

flashlight, turned the bag to the front, and drew out a blood bag in a hurry. He

also accidentally took out the bottle used for absorbing ghosts. The bottle bounced back

and forth in the air before it was caught. He had no time to put it back and left

it in his pocket hastily.

When Chen Ming turned back, the zombie was closer. Chen Ming ripped open the blood bag and threw it at the

zombie.

In an

instant, a small amount of black dog blood splashed on him, but most of it was

on the zombie. Soon, he heard the sizzling sound of meat on a hot iron plate and

the zombie’s roar.

There

was a cloud of hot steam in the cool mist. The zombie scratched its burned skin

and roared louder.

Chen Ming

grabbed the flashlight and scoffed: “If you can’t win, you roar? You’re a

little brother. “

Saying

this, he noticed the green, bald zombies that were approaching.

There

were so many that it was uncertain how many villagers could survive.

Chen Ming put his thumb by

his mouth and bit it hard. The blood gushed out

immediately. He was used to the pain and didn’t frown at all. Then he took out

a stack of spells and rubbed them with the bleeding thumb. There were 12 of them

and each was tainted with blood.

“Scatter.”

Chen Ming threw out the spells. The yellow spells were flying. Before landing,

they suddenly scattered like they were alive.

Chen Ming did not wait still. He bypassed the struggling zombie and ran for the peach wood sword.

At the

same time, the spells found their targets and stuck on the foreheads of the poor zombies nearby.

“I

issue the edict.” His voice was small, but the effect was quite remarkable. Like what happened when the fierce ghost fought Zhou

Nan, the twelve zombies were burned to ashes in a minute.

There

was a limit to the usage of such powerful spells at a time. Chen Ming took a

deep breath and staggered.  But he still

smiled: “Ha, twelve, a new record.”

Real

men never looked back at the explosion. Chen Ming ignored those flames. He knew

the spell could only clean up low-level ghosts and it was useless to the 1000-year-old zombie. His top priority was to check whether the peach wood

sword could be reused.

He ran

back and found the villagers’ leader was still sitting on the ground in a

daze.

Chen

Ming was very anxious and wanted to kick the man: “Sword! Where is my

sword? Wake up, old man!”With that, he began to grope on the ground.

The

villager looked at the fire extinguished by the rain in the distance and was

stunned: “Are you an immortal? ”

Chen

Ming finally found the two pieces of the sword and checked them. Neither of

them was nice to use. “What immortal? Without my sword, I am only a

mortal.” He pulled the man up. “Run if you do not want to die…”

Before he finished, he heard footsteps from

behind. He immediately turned around and wanted to defend himself with the

broken peachwood sword.

The

zombie already slapped him with its big hand and Chen Ming flew away.

Chen

Ming had a heavy fall. His wrist was numb, his internal organs were

painful, and he caught the bloody smell.

He wanted

to play dead but the villagers’ howling disturbed him.

“The

thirteenth…” Chen Ming took out a spell and bit his hand. His hand

trembled morbidly and a great deal of blood dropped on the spell. Mixed with

train, it dyed the spell red. He took a few breaths and turned pale.

“Go ahead.”

This

spell flew powerlessly like a butterfly struggling in the storm. It stuck on the

zombie’s back.

The zombie felt the spell and was distracted from the

villager who was strangled.

Chen

Ming took a breath and made up his mind. He said in a soft voice, ” I

issue the edict.”

As the fire

started, he began to cough violently. It was a dry cough first and soon he coughed up blood. He curled up and covered his mouth. The blood seeped from his

fingers.

The

villager was thrown out. He finally stopped being silly and ran away.

There

was a big hole in the zombie’s back and black corpse water gushed out. As

speculated, the spell did not work and the wound slowly healed. The zombie

roared and came at Chen Ming who had been attacking it.

Chen

Ming stopping coughing and his breath was weak. He noticed the zombie, but he

could only lie on the ground, too feeble to move his fingertips.

“Thirteen…”

His smile turned bitter, “Surely they are not enough…”
