Chapter 1

"Mommy! Mommy!"

I look back at my daughter who's currently eating chocolates right now. Napaka dungis na nito dahil may chocolate ang buong bibig pati narin ang puting damit!

Iniwan ko muna ang hinuhugasan na mga plato at lumapit rito.

"Cheysela Marie! Diba sabi ni mommy tama na muna sa pagkain ng chocolate? Hay nako. Tingnan mo na yang damit mo!" Pag didisiplina ko rito habang naka luhod upang pantayan ang tangkad nito.

She pouted at me and bowed her head, completely guilty at what she have done.

"I'm sorry mommy. Chicha Val gave me this chocolates earlier po eh. It's yummy." She said as an excuse.

This is one of my problem! Her tita Valentina always spoils her so much! As in too much!

"Sorry na mommy ko." She said as she kissed my cheeks while holding onto me.

Napangiti naman ako sa ka cute-an ng anak kong to. My cheeks have this sticky chocolate now and so as my shirt.

"Kung hindi lang kita love! Hays. Sige na nga! Go to the bathroom na para paliguan kita. Tatapusin ko lang tong hinuhugasan ko ok?" I said. She nodded her head before running towards our room.

"Anak! Wag tatakbo!" I shouted. But instead of slowing down, tinawanan nalamang ako nito.

I shake my head before continuing the dishes I am washing earlier.

Being a single mom for the whole 5 years is really really hard. Lalo na kapag wala kang magulang na mapuntahan. I am thankful that Valentina stand as her second mom.

Valentina's parent help me to have my own condo. Since they own the Assuncion condo's and estate corporation, they gave me a condo where my daughter and I can live peacfully. It's not that big but not that small either.

Tama lamang para sa amin ng anak ko. It have a functioning kitchen, small sala and dinning room. Mayroon rin itong isang bedroom kung saan mayroon ring bathroom.

Valentina's parent stand as my second parent and I am really thankful for them.

After I finish washing the dishes, pumunta na ako sa kwarto at napa buntong hininga nalamang ako ng makita ang nag kalat na mga laruan sa higaan at sa lapag. There were opened chocolate packets on the bed and her fingerprint are visible on the bed sheets.

Looks like mag lalaba nanaman ako nito.

"Anak?" I called her as I enter the not so big bathroom. Mayroon itong shower kung saan nandoon na ang aking anak na nag lalaro ng tubig.

"Nak! Wag masyadong masayang sa tubig. Wala tayong pambayad sa tubig." Sabi ko rito. She giggled at me.

"Sorry mommy!" She said. Pumasok nalamang ako roon at pinaliguan ang aking anak.

"Mommy? What's with the invitation chicha Val sent us?" She asked habang sinasabon ko ang katawan nito.

"Ikakasal na kasi ang tita Val mo baby. Bride's maid si mommy tapos ikaw yung little bride! Yehey!" I said as I clapped my hands and she clapped her small hands too.

"Let's give tita some more chocolates too, mommy!" She said while smiling. Binanlawan ko naman ang katawan nito at ngumiti nalamang.

Cheysela Marie Santa Cruz, my daughter, is a lovely kid. Napaka masiyahin nito, makulit, madaldal ngunit matalino. She's good and kind. Ngunit may pagkasuplada kapag sinungitan ito.

If you will look closely, she get most of her feautures from her dad. That I don't wanna talk about.

"Oh, kili-kili powers na anak!" I said at agad naman nitong tinaas ang dalwang kamay na linagyan ko ng pulbo.
