Chapter 26

"The wheels on the car go round and round! Round and round, round and round! The wheels on the car go round and round! All day long!" 

Cheysela is singing happily and loudly inside the car habang papunta kami sa mall. Naka-connect rin kasi ang ipad niya sa kotse at paulit ulit na pinapatutog ang wheels on the bus. Sinasabayan ko pa nga siya kung minsan at tuwang tuwa naman ito. 

I'm glad my daughter can smile already. 

"Daddy, are we near na po ba?" She asked as she stand up to see kung malapit na kami dahil mukang napansin nito na nag slow down na ang kotse ni Chase. 

"Uhuh, we're here already. Mag p-park lang si daddy, I'll drop you and mommy inside. Wait for me there okay?" Chase talked to her softly while entering the mall garage pero agad itong ngumuso at umiling. 

"No daddy, I want us to go there together, please. It's scary that without you, no one will protect us." Agad na pag susumamo nito.

Napatingin naman si Chase dito bago tumingin sa akin at tumango. 

"Okay, we'll go there together. I'll just park this car." 

Matapos makahanap ng parking ay pumasok naman na agad kami. Though Cheysela was quite scared, pero dahil buhat siya ng daddy nito ay mukang kumalma naman ito. I can feel that she's also helping her self and I am happy for that.  

"Mommy, balloons!" Tuwang turo nito sa balloons na disney princess. 

"You want that anak? We'll get you that." Sabi ni Chase. Bumili siya nito at ako ang nag tali ng balloons na iyon sa kamay ni Cheysela. 

Everything was perfect, sumakay kaming tatlo sa train na nag lilibot sa mall and she was so happy and excited. We proceeds to buy her toys and anything she likes. Hindi naman masama dahil paminsan minsan lang. Pumunta pa kami sa kids section para bumili ng damit nito. 

Chase was so busy to choose clothes for her. He was really serious with it kaya hindi ko mapigilang mapatawa habang nakatingin sa kunot nitong muka. 

He's holding a dress and a stockings. Ipinapantay pa niya ito sa anak namin who looked enjoyes as her dad choose some dresses for her. 

"Love, do you think this will be a good fit? I can't decide wether to get this black one or the white one for stockings." Tawag pa nito sa akin. Lumapit ako dito at tiningnan ang tinitingnan niya. 

"Hmm, I don't know. Parehas bagay eh." Sabi ko dito. 

"Okay, let's just get this both." Sabi nito bago ilagay ang stockings sa cart na siya mismo ang nag tutulak. 

"I'm pretty sure you'll look good with that dress, princess." Chase said as Cheysela giggled.

"Of course daddy, ikaw po ang nag choose eh. Marami pa ang mas magkaka-crush sa akin once I go back to school!" Masayang sabi ni Cheysela na agad nagapakunot sa muka nitong si Chase. 

"What? What crush? Who are thay? They're not allowed to have a crush on you. You're still a kid! No, I will not let them. Not now, not ever okay? As long as I live wala munang crush crush." Pangangaral agad neto. 

"Chase come on, bata pa naman si Cheysela eh." Agad na saway ko dito pero mas lalo lang hindi naguhit ang muka nito. 

"What? I know how assholes men could be. I don't want to see our daughter hurt, Isabella. I'll hunt them down one by one!" Stress na sabi nito kaya tinawanan ko naman. 

"Bakit naman ha? Kasi isa ka ding asshole?" Taas kilay na tanong ko dito. 

"Yeah... But that was before!" Agad din nitong bawi kaya inilingan ko nalang ito ng ulo at nag lakad na.
