"Hey Flash," I said, walking into the living room to see him straightening some New Year's banners around the small kitchen bar.
After Peter and I's discussion, I told Flash what was going on. He agreed that the sort of revelation dealing with my mom requires tons of research into it before I jump to conclusions. He told me he doesn't want me to be upset if she kept something from me my entire life and it have something to do with Peter.
And just him saying that alone led me to tell him everything going on with Nightmare. And of course, he told me I should've told him sooner.
He said seeing me pass out in an elevator because of the villain was extremely concerning when I could've just told him what was up.
He was right.
He usually is.
"Hey," he smiled down at me, pointing at the tape on the counter for me to hand it to him.
"Why're you decorating now?" Looking at the time, everyone is supposed to be here in barely thirty minutes.
He shrugged, "You know I procrastinate. Plus, April was supposed to help and she's been getting ready for the last hour."
I nodded, a small smile on my lips at the mention of April ghosting him. They have a funny relationship a lot of the time. He never scolds her though.
"Remind me why we're having the party here?"
April convinced Bushkin to let us use the bottom floor of the building yesterday. According to her this morning, she decided against it because she doesn't want there to be cameras filming anything that happens.
Apparently, she gets drunk and naked too often. So, now we're having it at Flash's apartment.
And I'm not sure who all they invited.
"Because April said so. Besides, this apartment is closer to everything in the city," he said while taping the banner up.
There's already balloons and confetti everywhere. For a jock type of dude, he's pretty good at decorations. I can see why April doesn't really care too much about participating.
