AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. OKAY so I moved across the country!!! I got my apartment and I have a big interview tomorrow and I'm finally feeling perfectly good to start working through finishing this book! I got a notification that it was eligible to put in the Wattys2022 if I completed it in like the next week or so, and as cool as that is, there's NO WAY it'll be done by then.

HOWEVER, if you're interested in Draco fanfics and stuff, I have a book I'm also working on in my profile :)

I LOVE YOU GUYS.

This chapter is dedicated to @MOonyWrites123 because YOURE AWESOME and even though you're not this far in the book, I wanted to dedicate this to you. Read when you can, but get here ASAP FRIEND!

It didn't take long for the speech Howie Stacy gave to end. What seemed to be taking long, however, was this day. It felt like it began years ago at this point, and when the realization of the young man being Gwen's younger brother finally washed off Flash and myself, we managed to collect our expressions and follow the group loosely in the back.

Peter said it would be a more in-depth tour than the field trips get, and though I'd never been here prior to this, it already felt very involved.

At some point, we would reach the exhibit where the experimentation on spiders is done, and then we'd have to somehow fall behind the group and hide to discuss the plan. Though, I admit I'm more afraid that Peter will become more and more tense and uneasy due to the reminders in this place, and we may not be able to work through the plan as we intended.

Hopefully it won't come to that.

As we walked past a set of double doors and into a long, white coated hallway, Flash cleared his throat in what seemed like an effort to gain our attention.

Peter, who had barely spoken since Howie's speech, simply turned to look at Flash next to me, waiting for whatever it was he had to say.

"How will we break off? There's a guard at almost every doorway. They've got this place secured to the damn brim," he whispered.

I looked down at my feet, the nervousness in my chest cascading throughout my body at Flash's question. He wasn't wrong. There truly was someone keeping watch everywhere, and one wrong move will lead us to be kicked out.

"Don't worry," Peter passed off.

"What do you mean, 'don't worry'? What sort of masterful plan do you have that you haven't told us? How are we going to map the locations we need off without being noticed?"

Flash's arms flailed in exasperation, his whispering in the back of the line earning a few people ahead of our trio "shushing" him.

Peter sighed on the other side of Flash, his stoic expression remaining the same.
