Jisoo opened her eyes and blinked a few times to get used to the light. She felt the comfortable sheet under her body and it reminded her where she was. She quickly looked around checking if he was there
When she was about to sigh in relief,the door from the bathroom opened and a distracted Taehyung came out,wearing only a towel around his waist,Jisoo swallowed hard. How can a man be so perfect?
"Enjoying the view,love?" He mocked as he towel-dried his hair with a small towel around his neck
Jisoo was embarrassed and got up from bed promptly,trying to ignore his presence. She made her way straight to the bathroom,but before she reached the door Taehyung held her by waist and glued their bodies
"Good morning to you too" Taehyung said in her ear,teasing her
"Mor...morning!" Her voice came out weaker than expected
Taehyung gave a victorious smile and let her go. She ran into the bathroom and locked herself there for long minutes
When Jisoo entered in the kitchen only the maid was there, washing some dishes
"Morning" Jisoo said "where's everybody?"
"Good morning, ma'am! They are in the pool outside" the middle-aged woman said "may I serve the breakfast!"
"No thanks it's fine. I can serve myself" Jisoo was not used to that and refused politely
After a few minutes,when she was totally satisfied with a lot of delicious food,she went outside
Taehyung and his parents were seated on the sofa having a deep conversation Chaeyoung was inside the pool will the little ones
"Morning!" Jisoo said to everybody, she sat beside Taehyung and he kissed her shoulder
"Good morning" they said like a choir
"Come to the pool,Jisoo!" Chaeyoung said
"Actually I was thinking about enjoying the beautiful sea today" Jisoo explained "I love salt water"
"I'm going with you" Taehyung said casually, his parents looked at each other but they didn't say anything.
"Great I'm ready are you?" Jisoo asked while she was getting up
"Totally" Taehyung got up and grabbed her hand "anyone else?"
"No darling, thanks. Have fun you two!" Mrs.kim kim answered for everybody
They walked for few minutes in silence,just enjoying the peace of that place
Taehyung was thinking how it was being at home with his family,with her walking holding hands never felt so natural to him and that fact scared him a little bit
When he looked at Jisoo,she had distant thoughts and something was clearly bothering her
"May I ask you what you're thinking?" He risked asking
"Nothing important" she answered after a few seconds in silence. Jisoo lowered her head and watched the water wetting her feet
She didn't want to tell him she was thinking about her family if they were not in that condition, Jisoo would probably not accept that agreement at first place
She missed them and spending those days with Taehyung's family made her remind how good it felt to be around the ones she loved
"You're not a good liar,you know" Taehyung pointed
Suddenly Jisoo felt like crying. She was not used to that,but her feelings were out of control lately. She sniffed and Taehyung stopped
"Jisoo" he said holding her shoulders and turning her to face him. "Look at me"
She kept her head down,so Taehyung gently touched her chin and lifted her face up in his direction.
"Are you crying?" He asked worried
"What's the matter? tell me!"
Taehyung was stunned watching her cry. That hurt him inside
"I...I..." she was trying to think about a good excuse
"Don't lie!" He ordered rudely. She sighed
"I was thinking about my family" she confessed sadly
"What's the problem with your family?"
"It's my father, he's sick. They lost the restaurant and he got deppresed. Then he almost had a heart attack" she said nonstop
Jisoo didn't look at his eyes became she was very ashamed to do it. Taehyung,in turn, was glancing at her deeply,trying to understand the situation
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were going through all of these" he hugged her tightly and she could not hold the tears anymore
"I will help you don't cry please!"
"I don't need your money" she said with a cracked voice
"I meant I'll be standing by you,you stubborn" Taehyung squeezed her and kissed her hair "we are a team now"
She smiled faintly. He was the first man to see her vulnerable. What could that mean?
