In the next morning, when Taehyung woke up, Jisoo was not in the bedroom anymore He did his morning hygiene calmly and went downstairs "Where's everybody?" he asked stepping in the kitchen
"Beach...Jisoo is there with the kids Mom and dad went to the city" Chaeyoung was preparing a fruit salad. "What's wrong with you? You never wake up late."
"I took too long to fall asleep last night" Taehyung sighed while he sat on a chair in front of Chaeyoung
"That's the best part of the engagement." his sister commented randomly. "After marriage things change... After having children then! You stay awake all night long, but for another reason!"
Taehyung glanced at her for a while. He knew his sister was suffering with that divorce thing but she was trying to be brave and keep going because of the boys mostly. She was always laughing around but her eyes were sad. Was that what love supposed to mean? How long would she take to remake her life?
That thought made Taehyung wonder how his life would be after his divorce He didn't think much about that part of the contract, but now it was bothering him the fact that Jisoo would be no longer part of his family, of his routine
"Sorry, I didn't mean to discourage you from proposing to Jisoo" Chaeyoung apologized. "Marriage is supposed to last forever after all."
It was supposed to last forever...Could that forever be just one year? What if one year was not good enough for him? How Jisoo would deal with that fact? Would she move on and marry another man?
Those questions were echoing in Taehyung's head but the last one made him change his humor The image of another man touching Jisoo pissed him off
"Can you help me?" he asked suddenly
"With what?" his sister asked
"I want to propose to Jisoo here It's the place I feel more connected to myself, so I was thinking about giving the next step here too"
"Sounds romantic, Mr.Kim" Chaeyoung mocked. "Who would have thought, huh?"
"I need your help to prepare the scenario and I want it to be something unforgettable for Jisoo" Taehyung was already devising everything on his mind
"I can do it, of course" Chaeyoung stated promptly.
"Great, but it's a secret Don't tell mom otherwise Jisoo will find out ahead of time." Taehyung said and Chaeyoung zipped her mouth with a smile
He got up feeling more confident and happy didn't know how, but that girl was arousing unknown feelings for him, and they were good enough to make his heart beat faster
Taehyung couldn't guarantee that Jisoo would be with him forever after a year, but he'd make sure that she would have unforgettable moments by his side
"I'm gonna take a look at the boys." he said while he was getting up and walking towards the glass door
"The boys, I know" Chaeyoung made fun of him "Take a bottle of water and some fruits for them, please"
Taehyung helped his sister to make a basket with some fruits, juices and water
When he reached the sand, Jisoo was building a sand castle near the water with the boys
"Seems like we have some engineers here" Taehyung said casually
"Uncle!" the boys came running and embraced Taehyung's long legs
Jisoo watched them with a smile on her face
"I brought some delicious food and fresh water, because I bet your irresponsible aunt didn't remember that" Taehyung glanced at Jisoo and winked She had her mouth half-opened
"Hey! I'm a good aunt!" Jisoo defended herself while she was getting up.
Taehyung observed her body wearing shorts and white t-shirt
his thoughts went straight to last night A heat started to build up inside his body, and he could feel his arousal growing.
"Jisoo, take the basket and feed the boys I'm going to take a dip and I'll be right back" Taehyung didn't wait for a response.
When Jisoo realized, he was already enjoying the water
"Weird" she said more to herself
Jisoo finished putting things in the basket when Taehyung hugged her from behind and she screamed in fright
"Taehyung!" she complained
"I love when you say my name" he talked low in her ear
"You're all wet, let me go!"
"Let's get in the sea with me" he asked gently
"No!" she replied instantly "Where are the kids ?"
"Playing with Jimin over there." Taehyung pointed with his head
"I didn't know Jimin was here." Jisoo got confused.
"Is there a problem?" Taehyung asked promptly.
"No..."
"Great." he kissed her neck "I think you learned from punishment last night."
"Was that the best you could do?" Jisoo provoked him and he smirked
"The best is yet to come, love"
