Taehyung left the room without saying a word after his long shower Jisoo knew that kind of relationship would not be easy for both of them but she didn't understand why he couldn't let Tzuyu go
Tzuyu was like a ghost, always hunting them in their best moments
Jisoo went to the bathroom, took an invigorating shower and thought about how she would act with Taehyung from that moment on She needed to know if he felt at least attraction to her If he desired her as much as she desired him
Determined to provoke him, Jisoo finished her shower and chose a beautiful long, low-cut red dress that highlighted her white skin The weather was pleasant that night, which favored her choice
When Jisoo went downstairs, she heard a well-known male voice coming from the backyard and she could not believe when she saw Jimin standing in front her, with a beer in hand and a wide smile
"Jimin!" Jisoo hugged him
"Hey gorgeous! Didn't know I would find you here. Not even my cousin, to be honest" he kissed her hair
"And I wasn't expecting you here either!" Jisoo was surprised.
"Chaeyoung called and invited me and my mother to spend the weekend with the family but Unfortunately, my mom couldn't make it As Chaeyoung said everybody was happy and we should celebrate great news, I'm here" Jimin explained
"If I only knew what she meant..."
"It's good to have you here! A familiar face, you know" Jisoo confessed and Jimin laughed.
"I didn't know you two already knew each other" Chaeyoung interrupted the conversation
"We are old friends from high school" Jimin just said
"Oh, sounds great! We can skip the introductions then" Chaeyoung spoke and glanced at Jisoo "You look wonderful tonight!"
"I was just about to say it" Jimin confessed.
"Thank you" Jisoo was ashamed and it made her blush.
"Help me to grab a beer for Jisoo, Jimin" Chaeyoung shook her head at the bar's direction and dragged him quickly Jisoo didn't understand why Chaeyoung left her alone but suddenly her senses were invaded by that wooden scent...
He was there
"Remind me to go shopping with you next time" Taehyung talked low in her ear
He was standing right behind her
Taehyung didn't touch Jisoo, but she could feel his body heat, which made her close her eyes and bit her lower lip
"Sounds like someone is bothered by my taste in clothes" she provoked him
"This kind of dress you can use only for me" he said coldly
"For what? For you to observe and go away like every other time?"
"Don't play with me, Jisoo" he wrapped her waist from behind with his big hands.
"Are you begging already, princess?" Taehyung bit her earlobe and she shivered.
"Let's see who's going to beg here, love" Jisoo stated sarcastically
Taehyung smirked and squeezed her body "Can't wait!" he kissed her neck as he spoke
When the couple joined the family around the table, Jimin was quiet, just watching them. He was wondering how Jisoo could fall in love with his cousin Or that wasn't love at all? Something at that story was not right and it kept him intrigued
"I'm so glad you both stayed for the weekend "Mrs.kim said while she was looking at Jisoo and Taehyung "I think this is the first time in years Taehyung stays with us for more than 24 hours"
"Mom!" Taehyung scolded
"Your mother is right I hope you have more time for your own family from now on" Mr.kim narrowed his eyes as he was giving an advice to Taehyung "Your family must be your most precious treasure because they represent your weakest point"
Mrs.kim looked lovingly at her husband and Jisoo glanced at Taehyung, who was staring at his parents She would like to know his thoughts at that moment but his expression was impassive
After a pacific dinner, Mrs.kim and Mr.kim retired to rest and the others remained drinking and talking At some point, Jisoo was drunk, speaking loud during an intense conversation with Jimin about their days at school
Chaeyoung was talking to Taehyung about her divorce, whom was not paying too much attention once his eyes were fixed on Jisoo
That intimacy she had with Jimin was driving Taehyung crazy Why did she feel so comfortable with his cousin? They were just friends from high school, not a big deal
Taehyung couldn't define his feelings at that moment, but anger was for sure one of them.
"Tae, can you grab another beer for me, please?" Chaeyoung asked him
"You should take some rest You're drunk already" he pointed. "Let me help you go inside"
Chaeyoung complained but Taehyung didn't listen to her. He took her inside and put her in bed
When Taehyung came back outside to pick up Jisoo, he found his future wife in Jimin's arms. The adrenaline rushed through his veins as he asked out loud
"What the hell is going on here?"
