When Taehyung and jisoo came back to the house it was lunch time all the family was seated around the table, talking about amenities the couple joined them and jisoo was feeling so much better after Taehyung's support at the beach
Taehyung seems to be another man he was joking,playing with the kids,and sometimes glanced at jisoo just to make sure she was ok. Jisoo wondered if that version was the real one or he was just playing a great role
"Taehyung,I would like to discuss some business issues with you. Would you like to join me for a coffee in my office?" Mr.kim said calmly
"Sure,shall we?" Taehyung asked and his father just nodded
They excused themselves to leave the table and Taehyung gave a quick kiss on Jisoo's forehead before he followed his father
Jisoo went to her room to take a shower while Mrs.kim and Chaeyoung went to the living room to play with the kids
When Mr.kim and Taehyung were comfortable the maid serve the coffee and left the room
"What's wrong,dad? I don't believe we have a business issue to discuss" Taehyung took a sip of coffee and glanced at the man seated in front of him
"How are you feeling?" Mr.kim asked casually "I heard Hyunjin is walking around with Tzuyu,as if she was a trophy"
"I don't care about Tzuyu anymore,Jisoo will be my future wife" Taehyung spoke harshly
"Speaking of,are you over Tzuyu already? Because Jisoo and Tzuyu are two different woman,as I could see" the middle-aged man paused for a moment "Jisoo will not forgive you if you play with her. Not even your mother will"
"What are you talking about" Taehyung frowned
"Look Taehyung,I am more experienced than you so listen to me when I say,don't play with that girl you'll get hurt"
"Come on,dad! I'm not playing with Jisoo!"
"Don't try to deceive your father, Tae! I don't know what you're planning but you're not over Tzuyu yet! Your eyes are full af anger and you can't even hear her name that your expression changes"
"Dad..."
"You need to put your feet on the ground,Taehyung. A big project is one the way and Hyunjin will be our direct competitor, for sure. I don't want anger to get in the way of our business" Mr.kim sighed "Tzuyu is with him now. And you seem to be happy with Jisoo,so let it go"
Taehyung was feeling helpless in the face of his father's statements. Was his anger that evident? What would Jisoo think of that?
"You can lose the opportunity to be happy with Jisoo if you keep coming back to the past" his father said with comprehensive eyes and that was a punch in Taehyung's stomach
"I don't think I am able to be happy" he confessed
"Everybody is, son you just need to allow yourself to live this state of mind"
Taehyung left his father overthinking about the situation. All those wise words messed with him and he needed some time alone,so he decided to take a shower to refresh his mind
After a few minutes under the cold water,he was feeling like a brand new man,in all the ways. He decided to invest in his relationship with Jisoo, maybe he could try a little harder just to show his family he was really into her
Taehyung gave a little smile when he thought about her,that night at the bonfire she was so happy, dancing as if nobody was watching, laughing and singing. That feeling was real Taehyung wanted to live that for a second, just to know how it feel like
Thinking about it, he went downstairs to look for her. When Taehyung arrived in the living room, he heard some loud laughter coming from the kitchen and he decided to follow the sound
Jisoo was preparing a cake with the two little boys. They were putting chocolate icing on the cake when Taehyung appeared on the doorway he smiled instantly as he watched the mess on the counter
"War days, huh?" Taehyung asked as he leaned against the doorframe with his arms crossed
The kids were seated on the counter and the older one looked at his uncle
"Uncle Tae! Aunt Jisoo just baked a chocolate cake. Do you want a slice!"
"Yes of course! The first one!" Taehyung replied
Jisoo smiled glancing at him while he made his way towards her. When he was close enough, Taehyung wrapped her from behind with his big hands
"You look extra hot with flour in your hair and chocolate on your face" he said low in her ear. She shivered and gave an embarrassing smile
"Can we eat now?" One of the boys asked, interruption the couple's moment
"Of course, sweetheart! Let me serve you all" Jisoo quickly got away from those naughty hands
While Jisoo was helping the kids to clean up,Taehyung got himself thinking about how it would be like to be a father
Lazy days at home with his family never felt so right and enjoyable
"Can we watch cartoons?" The youngest asked
"Yes! Ask the nanny to turn the TV on,please. Mommy is busy with grandma and grandpa in the office, ok? So don't scream!" Jisoo oriented them and they left running
When she turned around,Taehyung was right beside her, he pulled her by waist and glued their lips with urge. The kiss was calm,sweet. Jisoo responded to the kiss gently and wrapped her arms around his neck. When she was intensifying the action, he broke the contact of their lips with malicious smile on his face
"What was that for?" Jisoo asked feeling disappointed
"Are you prepared to the next step,love?"
