Chapter-24

Taehyung was acting strange and Jisoo just noticed it After they came back from the beach, he was impatient and walking around in the bedroom, as if he was worried about something

"What's the problem, Tae? You'll end up drilling the floor of walking so much to and fro!" Jisoo glanced at him and asked

She was seated on a comfortable sofa near the window, reading a book

"Nothing to worry about" he was hyperventilating "Ah! I forgot to tell you, I asked Soobin to pick up your things and take to my apartment We will come back to Seoul tomorrow"

"How come Soobin...?" she couldn't finish her question

"I have a copy of your keys And Jennie helped him"

"Taehyung" She exhaled heavily to control herself "Why you didn't ask me first?"

"Because we discussed it already I gave you time and now I can't wait anymore" he explained briefly

"This is invasion of privacy!" she said discredited Jisoo knew she would have to live with him soon, but having a copy of her keys was too much How far could that controlling man go?

"It's done already" he stated coldly "Now put on that dress and come with me"

Jisoo hadn't realized there was a long white dress on the bed which apparently Taehyung had set it aside for her All of a sudden, all her anger turned into confusion

Did he want to control her clothes too? And why did he take time to choose a dress like that for her? The dress was beautiful, she should confess, but she was comfortable in those shorts and oversized hoddie

"What's this for?"

"I have something to show you" he simply said. "I'll wait downstairs Don't take too long"

Taehyung left the room and Jisoo changed her clothes A few minutes later she was in the living room searching for him, but only Chaeyoung was there

"Have you seen Taehyung?"

"He asked me to inform you he's waiting for you at the beach" Chaeyoung replied with a soft smile on her lips

"Ok, thank you!" When Jisoo reached the sand, Taehyung was there, wearing white trousers folded at the hem and a  black button shirt that matched those eyes perfectly His hands were in his pockets and he had a shy smile on his face

Her heart raced...

"Let's take a walk with me" he said gently while offering his hand for her to take

They walked hand in hand along the coast until they found a deck with a speedboat floating in the water at the end of it Taehyung invited her on board

"Where are we going? Another secret place?" she was surprised

"I hope so" he answered with a faint smile

Taehyung started the speedboat and the couple headed towards the horizon

Jisoo felt the cold air touching her skin and she enjoyed the freedom sensation

Taehyung stopped the machine in the middle of nowhere, right in time The sun started to color the sky with orange while it was disappearing on the horizon slowly

Jisoo was standing on her feet, amazed by that landscape She could only see the sun and that crystal clear water The feeling of peace quickly invaded her as she felt her eyes burn with unshed salty tears

"Taehyung, this is wonderful!" she turned around to glance at him

"I knew you would love that" He held her both hands and slowly got to his knees

She frowned without understanding at first, then her mouth opened in surprise

"Kim Jisoo, will you marry me?" his eyes were bright with anticipatio

Jisoo couldn't hold her tears anymore and replied with a choked voice

"Yes!" Taehyung gave a wide smile and then put a beautiful diamond ring on her finger

She was shaking so he kissed her hands and got up, hugging her tightly

They watched the sunset together and his body heat made Jisoo calm herself down

She would never imagine Taehyung would propose to her at her favorite time of the day It made her think that maybe he was a romantic partner, just broken inside because of his previous experiences

"Hope you remember this moment forever" Taehyung whispered in her ear

How could she forget?
