Taehyung and Jisoo came back to the house after a few hours
Jisoo couldn't stop smiling and Taehyung was feeling his heart warmed That was not the first time he proposed to a woman, but it was the first time he felt his heart beating fast and it never felt so good
He knew that was just part of a plan, but Jisoo's happiness was so genuine that he decided to live the moment with her Deep down, Taehyung wanted to create unforgettable moments with her so that she would never forget him
"What is all this?" Jisoo asked when they were walking in the deck towards the house
"Well, I would like to share this moment with the most important people in my life So I decided to prepare a special dinner" Taehyung explained with a wide smile
“Chaeyoung helped me, I must confess"
Jisoo laughed and hugged him by his waist
"Thank you...It's beautiful!”
There was a big table in the sand, with candles around it and flowers everywhere The atmosphere was so romantic that made Jisoo sigh Taehyung's family came all together and they were really happy
Taehyung observed the couple from a distance, watching all greetings and congratulations to the newest couple They seemed to be happy, but was that real?
The family sat around the table and the waiter served the dinner
"Let me see this ring, for God's sake!" Mrs.kim asked merrily
Jisoo showed her ring for the second time that night
"Do you believe now, mom?" Taehyung mocked and everybody laughed
"Yes, yes! I just hope this time it's real!" she stated and Jisoo gave a weak smile, feeling uncomfortable all of a sudden
Taehyung realized that and held her hand to show support
"Yes, mom This time is real." he said dryly
"Where's Jimin?" Mr.kim asked
"Oh! He said he was not feeling well so he's taking a rest" Chaeyoung replied to her father
Jisoo glanced at Taehyung and he was looking down She squeezed his hand to make him feel better and he lifted his eyes to stare at her deeply Jisoo gave a supportive smile and Taehyung kissed her hand with gratitude
After dinner, the women remained in the same place, taking some drinks and chatting Mr.kim and Taehyung walked to the edge of the sea to have a more private conversation
Music was playing in the background to liven up the atmosphere
"Chaeyoung, thank you so much for helping Taehyung with this surprise I didn't expect, really And it's everything perfect!"
"You're welcome, darling! I did all this with great pleasure"
"Thank you, Jisoo! For bringing our old Taehyung back" Mrs.kim said lovingly
A few minutes had passed when a romantic song started to play Taehyung came in Jisoo's direction and asked her to dance She was embarrassed but accepted
He took her to an improvised dance floor, ran his hands around her waist and started to sway to the beat Jisoo wrapped his neck with both hands and followed his steps gingerly
At some point, she rested her head on his chest, inspiring that wood scent that was unmistakable Jisoo thought she was in Heaven for the first time in her life She forgot about the contract, about Tzuyu, about all the issues she went through with her family She was focused on him and that feeling of being on cloud nine
Taehyung, on the other hand, was trying to figure out that mix of feelings inside of him When he proposed to Tzuyu, they had dinner and slept together Nothing more But what he was feeling at that moment was different It was intense and overwhelming He could not define
He kissed her hair when the song ended She lifted her head and looked at him When they were about to kiss, fireworks started to burst in the sky
Jisoo was startled for a moment and turned her eyes to the sky, gawking at everything that Taehyung had prepared for her that night
Taehyung hugged her from behind and kissed her neck
"Did you like it?" he asked low in her ear
She glanced at him amazed "You're kidding? I loved it! Thank you!"
"I think you're just like your dad, Taehyung That's so romantic!" Mrs.kim interrupted their moment with a comment
"Congratulations again to you both" Mr.kim said "Jisoo, welcome to our family!"
Jisoo smiled and sighed deeply, wondering what would become of her a year from now
