Abhimanyu Birla:

Abhi rushed to the penthouse hoping Akshu was there. Maybe Khushi and Siya were playing a prank. It must be Akshu's idea. He opened the front door and entered inside. "Akshu? Baby, I know you are here! Come on, na! Don't make me wait any longer!" Abhi searched both of the rooms, the study and bathrooms but she wasn't anywhere. Where will she go? Was she okay? Was she hurt? There was no way Akshu will be away from him for so long, willingly. He remembered her phone and quickly took it out of the drawer. As he turned it on, he realized he didn't know her passcode but soon realized there was none. That was strange. Abhi went through her phone hoping to find a clue. Maybe she messaged someone to tell them she was meeting them, maybe she talked to someone but there was nothing on her phone. Absolutely nothing. Her phone was wiped clean. "What the hell, Akshu?"

Abhi threw Akshu's phone on the floor cracking it. He ran to her wardrobe and went through her stuff. Every single gift he ever bought her was still there: the designer outfits, bags, shoes and all the expensive jewelries still in their boxes. The bracelet he got for her birthday which she never took off was there as well. "What the hell is going on?" Abhi was getting angrier but more than that, he was getting worried.

What if her family forced her to come back? What if they found out about them and forced her to return? Abhi knew Akshu's family was very conservative. If that was the case, he will just go to Udaipur and tell her family, he will marry her. He will get his girl back. He knew she didn't leave on her own. She loved him too much and he loved her. He knew that now. He loved her. He will get his Akshu back. "Please be okay, baby. Please be in Udaipur. I'm coming to get you."

"I don't care how, I need Akshara's address right now!" Abhi yelled at the HR department.
"Sir, Dr. Akshara came few weeks ago and asked us to update her address and remove her Udaipur address." The HR person informed him. "We have no way of going back to get her Udaipur address now."
"There are no written files with her information?? I need that address!" Abhi said throwing all the files from the desk.
"Dr. Sinha will have it but he's on holiday until next week."
Abhi couldn't believe it. How was he supposed to find her now? She already had been gone for two weeks. What if her family forced her to marry...no! She only belonged to him.  He will get his girl back no matter what. He just hoped Akshu will hold on and wait for him.

_______________

As soon as Dr. Sinha came back, Abhi made him go through all the files until they found Akshu's. Her Udaipur address was there and right away, Abhi rushed to the airport and took the first flight. "I'm coming, my precious girl. I'm coming to get you back. Please just be there and be okay."

He took a taxi and drove to Akshu's house. Akshu's house was a typical middle class home around other similar looking houses. Abhi rang the door bell and knocked on the door before noticing the big lock. He looked around for a neighbor and saw an older lady looking at him from across the street. Abhi walked up to her. "Hello aunty! Is this where the Goenkas live?"
"Yes. Who are you looking for, beta?"
"I am friend of Akshara's. Is she here?"
"Oh Akshu beta. Such a lovely child. She is a doctor in Mumbai, you know?" The old lady said proudly.
"Yes. A very capable one too." Abhi smiled. "Is she back from Mumbai?" Abhi crossed his fingers.
"She came back three weeks ago but I don't know what happened. After a few days, the whole left their house and moved away. They are such a nice family."
"Do you know where they went or when they will come back?" Abhi started to panic. Where did his Akshu go?
"No beta. They didn't say but Meena, their maid told me they moved away for good to another city. She said Akshu is not well. Maybe they took her somewhere for treatment. That's all I know." The old lady went back to her house.

Not well? What happened to his Akshu? Where was she? Has he lost her forever? Will he ever see her again? Abhi found a bench and sat down. He felt his eyes stinging and for the first time in his life, Abhi started to cry for someone.
