Akshara Goenka:

Akshara increased the volume of the TV to drown the screaming coming from downstairs. Abhi and his dad were shouting at each other and even though Akshu couldn't make out anything, she knew it was about her and Aarav.  She looked at her little boy sitting on the bed next to her, happily watching the cartoon show on TV unaware of what was going on. She kissed his head and tried to focus on him only.
"Bua, which Paw Patrol is your favorite?"
"Ummm...that one!" Akshu pointed to a random dog on TV. She had no idea who anyone was.
"He's my favorite too!" Aarav said happily. "He's a firefighter!"
Akshu heard footsteps and waited for Abhi to enter their room. He came in and closed the door behind him. He saw Akshu and shook his head and smiled at her. He went sat on the bed next to her. "Abhi?"
"Everything is under control. You don't need to worry about anything from now on. I got you, baby." Abhi put his arm around her and kissed her head. "From now on, you will only be happy and focus on the ki...Aarav. Okay?"
"I love you, Abhi. Thank you." Akshu hugged his chest and cried.
"Akshu? No more crying, okay? Also, I'm hungry!" Abhi said getting up. "Hey kiddo, are you hungry as well?"  Abhi asked Aarav.
"Yaaaaa!" Aarav answered.
"Baby, what should we have for dinner?" Abhi asked Akshu.
"Ummmm...Pizza!" Akshu covered the her ears knowing what the reaction will be.
"No!" Abhi answered making a face.
"That's yucky!" Aarav exclaimed. Akshu looked at both of her boys and started to laugh at the exact same faces they were both making.
"Like father like son!" Akshu giggled. Abhi went near her.
"I want you to always be happy like this." He kissed her lips.
"That's yucky too!" Aarav exclaimed. Akshu looked at Abhi and they both bursted out laughing.

________

Abhimanyu Birla:

Aarav laid between them sleeping as Akshu lightly tapped his head, singing a lullaby. Akshu had the biggest smile on her face, her eyes twinkling with happy tears.
"Sun sun nanne lori ki dun
Ho ja meete sapno mein gum
Tu mera suraj hai
Tu mera chanda hai
Tu meri aankhon ka taara hai, sun..."

"I can listen to you sing all night long." Abhi whispered as to not wake the kid up.
Akshu caressed Aarav's head. "Baby, isn't he so perfect?"
"He has to be seeing who his mother is." While Akshu couldn't stop looking at Aarav, Abhi only had eyes for her. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have her back in his life.
"Isn't it crazy that we made him? You and me? That he has a little bit of me and a little bit of you? Of course I did all the work but still..." Akshu smiled at Abhi.
"Hey now! He's only here because of my contribution." Abhi winked at her.
Akshu chuckled. "Of course. Well we did a damn good job of making the cutest little boy ever!" Akshu beamed.
"You only think he's cute because he looks like me." Abhi pointed out.
Akshu chuckled and cupped Abhi's face and kissed him. "You are so jealous!" Abhi made a face but got up and went around the bed, laying next to Akshu. "I love you, Abhi..so so so much!"
"I love you too...so so so much!" Abhi kissed her neck.
"Okay now I'm being squished between you two!" Akshu complained as Abhi kept hugging her tightly.
"I'm about to fall off. The kid needs his own room, baby! How am I supposed to love on my gorgeous wife with him sleeping on our bed?"
"Abhi!" Akshu hit him with her elbow. "Baby, nobody is happy about Aarav being here!"
"It doesn't matter. You are happy. That's all I care about." Abhi kissed her again. "If you are happy then everyone can feel whatever the hell they want." And Abhi meant it. He didn't care if his father was throwing tantrums or if the Goenkas were threatening to go to court. He will handle them all. His girl was happy and that's all he cared about. If he had to get used to sharing her with the kid then be it. Just one smile from her was worth all of that.
"Baby, let's take Aarav and go to Mumbai..I don't want to live here anymore."
"We will, sweetheart. We will." Abhi assured her. Abhi didn't want to tell her they didn't have custody of Aarav yet. There was still going to be a court case and it won't be easy but he will handle that. He won't have anything stress his girl out anymore.
