Abhimanyu Birla:

Akshu's grandmother forced Akshu and Abhi to stay for dinner even though he wanted to take her out and talk to her. Akshu happily agreed so he agreed as well. He just wanted to see her happy. At the dinning table, Akshu sat next to Abhi with the kid in her lap. Once again, all her focus was on the kid whom she constantly fussed over and fed and kissed. Abhi wanted her to pay attention to him. Before Akshu only used to have eyes for him but now when the kid was around, Akshu saw nobody else around her. Abhi really resented that kid but he knew the boy was important to Akshu and Akshu was so happy around him so he really needed to stop feeling jealous. Why was he jealous of a little boy, anyways?

________

Akshara Goenka:

"Chanda hai tu,
Mera suraj hai tu
Oh meri aankhon ka taara hai tu
Jeeti hoon main
Bas tujhe dekh ke
Iss toote dil ka sahara hai tu
Chanda hai tu
Mera suraj hai tu...."

Akshu lightly tapped Aarav's chest and sang him the lullaby as he slowly went to sleep. It was only after Akshu knew he really was asleep that she looked up and saw Abhi standing by the door watching her.  She smiled at him and put her arm out, motioning him to come to her. He came and sat on the bed next to where she was laying down with Aarav. "How long have you been standing there watching me?" Akshu whispered to him.
Abhi shrugged. "Time stands still when I am looking at you. I missed you singing." He kissed her lips. Akshu chuckled. "I only sing for Aarav now.  He's the only one who asks me to sing for him and I can't say no to him." She looked at her baby, peacefully sleeping and kissed his forehead. "He's so perfect....." Akshu beamed.
"You are perfect." Abhi said looking at her only. He leaned over and kissed her.  She looked into his eyes and melted. She loved him so much and it was getting hard to stay away from him. She wanted him so badly. She had been yearning for him, his touch for all these years but she couldn't become weak either.  Yet, when he leaned to kiss her again, she kissed him back.  She felt like her whole body was on fire and only he could cool her down. She needed him.
"Maybe we can go home and you can show me how perfect I am?" Akshu whispered in his ear. He grinned.
"I would love to. Come on!"
Akshu got up and kissed Aarav.  Abhi went near the door yet Akshu stood in the middle of the room. At one side was her Abhi, the love of her life.  On the other side was her baby boy, her whole heart.  She wanted both.
"Come, baby." Abhi called out to her. She looked at Aarav and silently made a promise to come get him soon and left to go with Abhi.

__________

As soon as they reached their room, Abhi barely locked the door before pouncing on Akshu, crashing his lips on hers.  He could barely hold back and when Akshu matched his intensity in kissing him back, he let the animal in him wake up again. They both kissed each other hungrily all over, their thirst for each other visible.  It was as in that one night, they were trying to make up for the 5 years they were apart.

It was only after they made love several times, reaching new levels of pleasure each time, that their naked bodies dropped on the bed, exhausted.  Akshu tightly hugged Abhi. "I missed you so much. You don't know how much I needed you. I was so alone without you, Abhi!" Akshu cried.
"I was so lost without you too, baby. Why didn't you come back? When you left, I felt like I lost my everything.  I love you so much, my precious girl." Abhi kissed her head.  Love her? Did he say he loved her? Akshu looked up to him in surprise.  "What happened?"
"This is the first time ever that you told me you love me. I been dying to hearing you say that for so long."
Abhi cupped her face with his one hand and kissed her. "I wanted to say that to you when you got home from the trip but you never came home." Akshu put her head down again. "Baby, please tell me what happened? Why did you leave?" Abhi asked her gently.  "I know something is troubling you. Just tell me. I'll do anything to make it all better."
Should she tell him? Could she take that chance? She still had to wait and see. What if he still rejects Aarav? No, she had to be careful.  "Abhi, please give me some time, I'll tell you everything. But can you wait until I'm ready?"
"I been waiting for 5 years without you, now I have you. I can wait for as long as you need me to."
Akshu hugged him.  Maybe she didn't have to leave Abhi. She will first see if he can bond with Aarav and maybe then she can tell him and then they can be a happy family. Yes! That's what she will do.
