Charlie waited for a response. "We are umm... together." Maria started and took Natasha's hand. "And they can't know about us... so we would appreciate it if you wouldn't tell anyone." She continued. Charlie just looked at the two women in front of him with a confused look on his face. "I'm gonna go" He said and left the bathroom.

Natasha exited the bathroom first and saw Charlie talking to Tony. Tony's gaze locked on Natasha. "Shit... he told him'' Natasha quickly turned around and went back to the bathroom.

 "Maria, we got a problem... I think Charlie told Tony" Natasha said. Maria covered her face with her hands. Natasha put her hand on Maria's shoulder. "We can explain this to him, I don't think he's going to tell anyone if we ask him not to" Natasha said, trying to comfort Maria. They both turned around when they heard the door open. It was Tony. "I am sorry, are you okay?" He said and looked at Maria.

Natasha took a step closer to Tony. "Yeah, she's okay but we would appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone about us" Natasha spoke quickly before Tony could do something inconsiderate. Tony tilted his head and looked super confused. "What do you mean, about you?" He took a moment to think. "Shit, are you two together?" He continued.

"Nooo" Natasha tried to save the moment. Tony looked at her and questioned again with his gaze. "Okay, fine we are!" Maria yelled and spread her hands. "Wait, so Charlie didn't tell you?" Natasha asked. "Ohh...no he didn't. He just said that you were feeling sick or something and he needed to leave. So I came here to check on you" Tony explained and put his hands into his pockets.

"This is awkward then..." Natasha said while the room was quiet. Tony nodded. "I can go if you guys wanna... you know" Tony said and was about to turn around. "No, we already di.." Natasha started. Tony turned around and smirked. "What?" he said and raised his eyebrow. "I meant that please don't tell anyone." Natasha said. "Okay, I won't but if someone asks me I have to tell!" Tony said and smirked.

"But why? You've lied before?" Maria said questiongly. "Yeahh... but you guys know. This is actually a big thing!" Tony said and chuckled. "And I want to tell Pepper!" He said before Natasha or Maria could interfere. "No! You can't tell Pepper. If she asks then you can tell but only her!" Natasha said frustrated.

Tony exited the bathroom. He slowly walked up to Pepper. "Do you want to know something?" He said quietly. Pepper nodded and looked confused. "You can't tell anyone, Romanoff would kill me if she knew I told you but..." Tony swallowed. "Hill and Romanoff have something going on!!" Tony said and smirked. 

Pepper's eyes widened and she looked at Tony to observe if he was lying. "No way! Maria is so professional, I don't think she would" Pepper denied Tony's "rumor". Tony spread his hands and took a few quick steps to keep up with Pepper's pace.

"Noo! It is true, they just told me" Tony walked behind Pepper and tried to get her attention. "Are you sure, you weren't just imagining?" Pepper asked when she noticed how Tony didn't let this go. "Sorry but I don't see that happening. I'll believe you if I hear it myself from them." Pepper continued walking towards the bar counter.

"Hear what, from who?" Wanda joined the conversation. Pepper sat down. "Ohh... Tony has his fantasy ships, nothing is going on!" Pepper answered and saw a relief on Tony's face. She started to think if Tony actually spoke the truth. So she decided to observe Natasha and Maria and see what was going on between them.

Maria came out of the bathroom and scanned the room. Who could she go talk to? She decided that Steve would be a nice choice. Maria walked up to Steve and talked with him for a while.

"How did it go with... the guy Tony set you up with?" Steve asked when he realized that Maria wasn't with him. Maria fell completely silent. "Umm.. he had to go somewhere" Maria came up with an explanation quickly. Steve nodded. "Was he nice? Do you think you're going to see him again?" Steve questioned Maria. "Well... I don't know." She answered with little hesitation in her voice. Steve nodded again.

"If you want to, I can set you up with someone?" Steve said and took a sip of his drink. Maria shook her head. "Noo.. noo.. That's not necessary!" She declined the offer downright. Steve seemed a little confused but didn't say anything. Maria looked around the room to find Natasha. She couldn't find her with her gaze. "Who are you looking for?" Steve asked when he noticed Maria gazing through out the room.

"Ohh..I was just looking for Natasha. I have to ask her something!" Maria told honestly. Steve pointed where he had just seen Romanoff. Maria got up and went to talk to her. Natasha smiled as she noticed Maria walking towards her.

"Well hello there!" Natasha said, with a little flirty tone. It was usual for her so she knew people wouldn't notice. Maria tripped on the last step she took towards Natasha and she had to catch her. "Ohh.. sorry!" She said and hid her blush from Pepper and Sam who were talking to Natasha. "How much did you drink there with Steve?" Natasha asked, a little bit concerned. "Umm... not much or I am not sure. I just tripped somehow" Maria chuckled. Maybe she had taken a few too many drinks.

Pepper looked at Maria and Natasha. They seemed just like friends would. She didn't know how close they were though. She joined the conversation when Maria asked them about the next mission. Pepper noticed how Maria had a hard time to stand still and she was glancing at Natasha every once in a while.

"Are you okay, Ri, Maria?" Natasha asked and looked concerned at Maria who seemed weird. "Yeah, I'm fine, it's just a little hot in here" Maria answered and shared a warm smile with Natasha.

"Was Romanoff about to say a nickname?" Pepper thought to herself. She noticed how Natasha had leaned more towards Maria. Her hand was behind Maria's back supporting her. Pepper tried not to make any assumptions but she slightly started to believe what Tony had said. They still were drunk so that could also effect on how they act. 

The party went on throughout the night. Most of the people had left when it was about 2am. "You guys! We should play some party games?" Tony yelled to the people still remaining at the party. Natasha, Maria, Sam, Cap, Wanda, Banner, Bucky, Pepper and of course Tony were left at the party.

"If they're gonna make us play truth or dare, I'm outta here!" Natasha whispered to Maria. The brunette laughed quietly. "You're cute," She said and smiled at her girlfriend. "We can play truth or dare" Wanda said and everyone agreed with her. "Shit..." Natasha mumbled and was about to leave. 

Maria took her hand and pointed towards the couches where people were waiting for them. "Come on! It'll be fun" Maria tried to encourage the redhead to join. Natasha sighed. "Are you too drunk for this?" She questioned Maria who just shook her head.

 Natasha looked at her with a questioning look. "Okay, maybe a little bit. BUT I know how to keep my mouth shut!" Maria said when she noticed that Natasha didn't believe her. "You're cute." Natasha said and walked towards the couches.
