"Yeah, I like the way that sounds." Beyonce pulled down the brim of her baseball cap and bobbed her head to the music. She backed away from the soundboard and started hopping to the beat, her honey blonde tresses just as bouncy as she was. She danced over to Mia and pulled her off the couch. "Sing it with me."

Mia rolled her eyes upwards. "Ah..."

"Sing it with me," Beyonce urged.

Drake piped up from the couch, "You might want to listen to Bey."

Mia laughed and shook her head. She stiffly danced with Beyonce, but gradually her body movement became smoother. She loosened her limbs and let herself vibe to the music they'd written to.

Together, the two women started to sing:

"You wanna get turnt to the beat,

And you can't deny...

There's no point in resisting,

But you can try.

You know you wanna shake to this,

So just let it go,

Lose yourself to the music,

And move to the flow.

I said,

Move to the flow.

And act like you know (act like you know),

Move to the flow,

And act like you know (act like you...

Know, know, know, know, know, know,

Act like you...

Know, know, know, know, know, know.) "

Beyonce clapped her hands in the air while dancing, and Mia twirled around the studio.

As Mia twirled, she allowed her negative feelings to just fall away. Her insecurity with her relationship's current state, her anger at Drake, all stripped away. She smiled and lifted her arms in the air, wearing the biggest smile she'd worn in a long time. She stopped singing and basked in Beyonce's husky vocals, but continued to dance. Her gaze fell on Drake as she was dancing. The music continued to play and Beyonce continued to sing, but Mia brought her movements to a halt as she stared at her boyfriend.

He gave her a sad smile.

Feeling helpless and vulnerable, she turned to look at Beyonce just as the music was ending. "Oh my God, I love it."

"So do I," Beyonce said, returning to the soundboard. "It's a banger, and I'm going to start laying down the vocals for it tomorrow. I'm thinking about doing a distortion effect on the 'know, know, know, know,' part...but I don't know. We'll see how it works out. This is beautiful though."

"Three tracks down," Detail said, adjusting a few of the controls on the board. He was brown-skinned and wore shades even though they were all indoors. He was a producer who occasionally worked with Beyonce, and he made the art of music production look easy.

"We're getting there." Beyonce slid her cell phone out of her jeans pocket and slid her finger across the screen. She held the phone up to her ear and lowered herself in a chair next to the soundboard. "What's up, baby? Yeah, we just wrapped up."

Mia walked over to the couch and sat down next to Drake.

"The song sounds amazing," he complimented. "You guys did that."
