26. On Time

Yeonjun widened his eyes as he tried to run away but jinwoo was quick to grab onto his arms.

"No jinwoo please don't do this please don't" he pleaded as jinwoo slowly brought the knife close to yeonjun's left arm.

"Don't worry i wont hurt you much. It's just a reminder that you-" he was cut off by the doorbell

"fuck" he quickly took a pill from his pocket and forced yeonjun to swallow it. He got up and dashed towards the window to jump out. "see you soon kitten"

Yeonjun was extremely drunk and he found it hard to keep his steps straight but still managed to open the door.

"sorry you forgot your phone in my ca- yeonjun? Are you drunk?"

"hmm"

Soobin found it hard to believe how yeonjun could get so drunk in such a short time. He literally just dropped him home five minutes ago. He also wasn't blind enough to not notice the dried tear stains on his cheeks.

"can I come in"

He got inside without letting yeonjun reply and came across the sight of too many alcohol bottles scattered on the floor and the table. He definitely remembers yeonjun telling him how he hated alcohol and wouldn't even drink it.

"yeonjun what happened here"

"he came and h-he forced me to drink. I told him I-i didn't want to but he-he didn't listen and t-then I-"

"sshhh it's fine I'm here don't worry I'm here now okay"

"why d-did he come b-back soobin. I-I thought he left f-for good but h-he's back to ruin my life a-again"

"yeonjun calm down no one will hurt you as long as I'm here okay. And I'll always be here"

Soobin hugged him as yeonjun sobbed into his chest. Soobin took yeonjun to his room as yeonjun tightly held onto soobin.

Soobin tucked yeonjun in bed and laid down beside him. Yeonjun was still sobbing as soobin held him close, rubbing circles on his back. After a few minutes yeonjun's eyes started feeling heavy and he went into a deep slumber.

Soobin heaved a sigh as he started to think about everything that just happened. He made sure yeonjun was asleep before heading to the living room.

He noticed the same bottles but this time he saw even more interesting things. There was a knife on the floor beside one of the bottles. The living room window was also unlocked. He checked the whole apartment everything was in its place, neat and clean. Except for the living room which was a complete mess.

"I swear I'm gonna kill someone."

He decided to clean up everything, not wanting yeonjun to see this mess again when he wakes up.
