The astronomy tower is still as beautiful as ever in the daytime. Draco is looking out onto the castle, sitting at the very edge by himself.
"Draco", Blaise says.
He turns around, his face is oddly red and his fist are clenched tight.
"Are you stupid?", he says looking at me.
"Excuse me?", I say defensively.
"You could've died!", he exclaims.
"What? Are you seriously angry about that?", I say in disbelief.
"YES", he shouts.
"Mate, calm down", Blaise says.
"Don't tell me what to do Blaise", his voice is stern and tense.
"You do realize that Hagrid has no idea what he's doing?", he shouts.
"He's a teacher Draco, of course he knows what he's doing. What is wrong with you?", I shout back.
"You're so naive. You trust anyone and everything".
"That's not true!".
"It is! That's why your friends with a mud blood!", he shouts.
Blaise gasps. I step back from him.
"I didn't mean that I'm sorry I-", he comes closer.
"Stay there. Don't come anywhere near me", I whisper shakily.
I run down the stairs as fast as I can, trying to be cautious but failing as I trip over one of the steps and come crashing down to the bottom of the stairs.
"OW!", I say holding onto my knee which is bleeding and aching.
"(Y/N)?". I look up to see Harry in front of me rushing toward me.
"What the hell happened?", he asks.
"I just fell down, I'm fine", I say wiping the blood off my knee hastily.
"Don't do that. Come on I'll get you to the hospital wing", he says grabbing my arm.
"No. Please. There's no need. I'll just get Hermione to perform one of her healing spells", I force a smile.
"You really should go. This looks pretty bad. Someone ought to fix these stupid stairs anyways", he rants.
"Harry, seriously I'm fine. Just help me up", I say.
He lifts me up and I straighten myself out.
"See? I'm fine", I grin.
"Mhm", he thinks to himself.
"Seriously, what happened?", he asks, determined to get to the bottom of whatever it is that led me to falling down the stairs.
"I will tell you. Just not now.", I assure him.
"I'll hold you to that", he smiles.Harry takes my hand and walks me to the Gryffindor common room.
"Ah (Y/N), welcome", Ron says before glancing down at my knee.
"Bloody hell, what happened?", he asks.
"Long story", I say sitting down on one of the couches.
Hermione rushes over and without warning performs her healing spell without asking questions.
"Still looks pretty bad", Harry says anxiously.
"It was a deep cut. Might leave a scar", Hermione says.
"Thanks anyways Mione".
"What the hell happened?", she asks.
"Well, I fell down the stairs", I explain.
"Why though?", Hermione asks.
"What do you mean why? She doesn't need a reason to fall down the stairs. Happens to me all the time". Ron says defensively.
Hermione rolls her eyes.
"Obviously something else happened. Everyone knows to be extra careful on those stairs. Their ancient", she says.
"I was at the astronomy tower and sort of had a fight with Draco", I explain.
"About what?", Harry asks.
"Him being a scumbag", Ron chips in.
"He was mad at me for todays lesson. You know how I rode the hypogriff?".
"What? Why would he be mad at you for that?", Ron asks.
"Apparently I could've died and Hagrid doenst know what he's doing".
"That little-", Harry begins.
"You haven't heard the worst of it yet", I say glancing at Hermione with apologetic eyes.
"Go on", she says
"He was talking about me being naive and stuff and he called me stupid".
"He called you what?", Hermione says.
"He said that's why I'm friends with...", I struggle to say the word.
"With?", Ron says.
"Mud bloods". I say quietly.
Hermione gasps and turns away.
"I'm so sorry Mione."
"Why are you sorry. It's him that said it.", she whispers.
"I'll kill him", Ron begins.
"Are you okay Hermione", Harry asks.
"I'm fine. What happened then (Y/N)?", she asks.
"He tried to apologize but I ran away and I was running down the stairs without thinking and I tripped", I sigh.
"He's dead", Harry says.
I don't bother trying to tell him otherwise. Draco deserves it after what he's said.
"You guys mind if I start sitting with you at dinner?", I ask.
"Not at all", Hermione pulls me into a hug.At dinner I sit next to the trio and attempt to eat but my appetite is slowly disappearing.
"You need to eat", Ron says.
"I know", I murmur.
"Whatever you do (Y/N), don't turn around", Harry says quietly.
"Huh?", I ask and turn around as an instinct.
Draco and Blaise are walking towards our table. Blaise looks nervous but Draco seems calmer then ever.
Draco clears his throat.
"Hello", he says. I turn back around.
"Can I talk you please (Y/N)", he asks.
"She's busy", Hermione says.
"I wasn't asking you", he replies angrily.
"You should be coming over here and apologizing", Harry says.
"For what exactly?", Draco asks suspiciously.
"You know exactly what for you smug git", Ron buts in.
I turn around to face Draco.
"I see. So that's where you ran off too", he grits his teeth.
"Don't talk to her like that", Harry says.
"I will talk to her however I like. Don't tell me what to do", he says angrily.
"No actually you won't", Ron stands up now.
"You really want to do this for what? The third time?", Draco asks.
"If I have to", Ron stares at him.
They stand there facing each other for what feels like years.
"Come find us when you've developed some sense (Y/N)", Draco says turning.
Blaise lingers a bit longer.
"I'm sorry (Y/N), I'll try to calm him down", he smiles weakly."He has some nerve coming over here like that", Harry whispers.
"That's just Draco", I force a smile.
