"Professor!", I exclaim.
"Mind if I take a seat?", he asks.
"Of course not", I pull over a chair from an empty table. Well partially empty apart from half eaten ice cream pots.
I look over at Blaise and Draco who look slightly disoriented.
"This is...", I begin but Dumbledore interrupts. Dumbledore is one of the few people that can interrupt you and not make you mad in the process.
"Draco Malfoy and Blaise Zabini I believe", Dumbledores eyes twinkle.
"Hello Professor", they say one by one.
He sits down in his chair and props his half moon glasses on his head.
"What brings you to Diagon Alley Dumbledore?", I ask.
"Well I'm quite fond of the ice cream here", he begins.
"Especially the sherbet lemon flavor".
I smile as I remember how he offered me a sherbet lemon in the hospital wing.
"I actually was meaning to bump into you (Y/N)."
"How do you mean to bump into someone", I think inside my head.
"Would you let your parents know id like to speak to them?", Dumbledore looks at me intently.
"Uhh, yes sir but why? Is something wrong? I'm not in trouble am I?", I panic.
"No no", He chuckles.
"Not at all, don't you worry about this. I just need to talk to them is all".
"Oh, alright. Yeah I'll let them know", I agree.
"Fabulous!", he booms.
He gets up out of his seat and pulls it back over to its original spot.
"Well I must be off. Important business to do with Hagrid".
His face crumples a bit but he attempts to fix it with a smile.
"Tell him I said hi".
"Will do! Take care of yourself (Y/N). Be safe".
Why is everyone telling me to be safe nowadays.
"Goodbye boys", he says finally before turning and walking away.

"What was that all about?", Blaise says.
"I don't know. Why does he want to speak to my parents?", I respond.
"(Y/N)s in trouble", Draco taunts.
"Oooooo (Y/N). What have you been up to now?", Blaise joins in.
"Shut up both of you", I say. I'm not in the mood for their taunting today.
They can tell I'm not kidding by the tone of my voice and suddenly we're sitting in silence .

I barely speak to them on the travel home. My head if full of worry right now and I don't feel like having causal conversation.
We make it home and dinner is ready but I don't feel hungry.
"We'll save you some", Draco offers.
"No need. Just not hungry. I'll see you upstairs", I reply and i sound so rude that I force a smile before walking away.

I reach my bedroom door and I stand there for a minute with my hand pressed on the door handle firmly. I don't move it. My eyes wander towards the boys room. The door is shut and I wonder whether or not I should go in or not. I decide to go in since they wont be up for a good while.

The room is fairly clean apart from the corner that belongs to Blaise. I take a look around, going through the bookshelf and opening and closing old and new books. There's so many books I wouldn't know where to start if this were my own. I look towards the desk. There's journals and notebooks sprawled across it, ink and quills sitting along the edge. I push them further onto the desk so they don't fall and make a mess.

I open up one of the desk drawers and have a little peak. His wand is placed neatly in the drawer. "How weird", I think to myself. Most wizards and witches keep their wands on them at all times. "But not Draco", I think.
I lift up his wand examining it, it's truly beautiful. I place it on the desk carefully and notice a black leather book sitting in the drawer. I pick it up, it's very good quality and seems expensive. Its pure black and I can just about see that the pages are a yellowish tint.

I open it without a second thought and see a line stating, "Property of Draco Malfoy".
I smile.
I flick past the first page. I soon realize it's a diary.
Suddenly I feel bad about reading it so I decide to close it but I notice my name in the corner and curiosity gets the best of me.
The page has a date scrawled messily on top.
"I met a girl today, (Y/N), (L/N). She's beautiful. I was going shopping for robes with Mother and I met her there. She intrigues me. We didn't talk for long but there's definitely something special about her. I don't know what it is. It's weird. It's a strange feeling."
I blush at all the compliments and realize I'n smiling to myself. I probably look stupid. I keep reading nevertheless.

"Hopefully she'll become my friend when I start school. I'm excited to start. I know I'll get into Slytherin I just know. Father said it's the best house and he practically threatened to disown me if I don't get into Slytherin. I'm quite nervous if I'm honest. I keep having nightmares where I get accepted into Gryffindor house. I walk up to the stool and the hat is barely on my head before it screams "GRYFFINDOR". Thinking about fathers reaction to that makes me sick. It's bad enough I might get into Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff but Gryffindor... Father would kill me. And I don't mean that in exaggeration. He's been in a good mood lately though. So I'm glad. I don't have to worry as much when he's in a good mood. Him in a good mood means mother in a good mood which means I can afford to me in a good mood. He hasn't gotten aggressive this week YET, so I'm hopeful. I'm not worried about him hurting me. I'm just worried about Mother. He doesn't even like hitting me he says. Apparently because it's too muggle like but when Mother takes his wand he has too."

My smiles slowly fades. Before I have time to process what I've just read there's a knock at the door.
"(Y/N)? I've checked your room but you're not there so I assume this is where you are".
It's Lucius.
"Just a minute sir!".
Flustered and confused I put away Draco's diary and wand and make sure everything looks exactly as I found it.

"Come in".
