Chapter 6

3rd POV

Tanjiro slowly started to fall asleep. He grabbed onto Kokushibou's hand and tilted his head upwards, leaning into the hand. He hummed a little and later on fell asleep while leaning on the taller male. Kokushibou carefully removed him to stand up, thereafter he picked up the boy in his arms and walked away with him. Leaving Akaza and Douma alone at the platform.

While he was walking, Tanjiro's head twitched a bit. It seems like as if he had a bad dream going on in his head. Kokushibou took the hand who was the closest one to his head, and ruffed his hair a little. He seemed to calm down a little, enough to let that bad dream go.

Kokushibou was coming closer to Tanjiro's room. He quietly opened the door and walked up to his bed. He carefully tucked him under the bed sheets and walked out, closing the door behind him.

Tanjiro opened his eyes and gave off a yawn. He rubbed his eyes and looked around.

'Did I fall asleep? Who brought me here?' Were his first thoughts.

He took off the bed sheets and sat at the bedside. He yawned once again before he stood up and checked his pockets. The small bag was still there. He took it out and hid it under the pillow. Later on he went to the mirror to fix his messy hair. While doing so he saw the mark on his forehead.

'What?' He stared at the mark who seemed to have grown a little larger. Has it always been like this? Or haven't he noticed it earlier?

He turned himself to the door to open it, but before doing so he heard a low voice behind him.

"You've been sleeping for quite some time y'know?"

He turned his head in a swift just to reveal a pink haired man.

"Did you watch me sleep?!" Tanjiro asked concerned.

"No, I came here just before you woke up". Akaza said while rolling his eyes.

"Hmph!, well you could've woken me up!" Tanjiro said stubbornly while giving off another pout.

Akaza just stood there and later on separated his lips.

"You've been sleeping for 2 days". He said while crossing his arms.

Tanjiro opened the door.

"Well, it's not that long. Now cmon before I'll drag you out of the room". Tanjiro said while standing on the other side of the door.

"Heh, I would like to see you try shrimp". Akaza responded with a chuckle.

"I'm not a shrimp".

He closed the door and walked into another hallway. But before he could take a turn at a corner, the biwa strummed.

'Huh?' Tanjiro didn't know what was going on but it seemed like he was in Muzan's office.

'Well, here goes nothing I guess' He shrugged his shoulders before walking to the table where Muzan would often do his work.

While standing there for a couple of minutes, Muzan finally came.

"What's your request father?"

Muzan closed the door behind him and walked over to Tanjiro.

"Ive decided that you will start your training tomorrow instead". He simply said while sittting down in his chair.

Tanjiro didn't even want to question why Muzan suddenly changed his mind. So he just responded with an "Ok", and walked out of the room just to be met by someone he hadn't seen before. He accidentally walked into the teenage looking demon.

"Hey, watch where you're going next time". He said before walking away in his direction.

"Oh,I'm very sorry!" Tanjiro shouted, but the other one didn't seem to hear it.

'What's his problem?' Tanjiro just thought while crossing his arms.

He decided to just let it slip, so instead of caring he just walked forward down a small corridor.

"Nakime, could you bring me to Douma's location?"

The strum was heard and he was at a different location. He turned around just to find himself in a very beautiful area. But he knew that he still was in the infinity fortress. A bit further away he saw Douma eating on a woman.

'Disgusting' Tanjiro turned away his head in disgust, while holding his hand infront of his mouth and nose to keep the stench away.

"Ah! Why hello Tanjiro!~" Douma had noticed Tanjiro's presence in the distance.

"What brings you here if I may ask?~" He spoke before taking another bite of the woman's arm.

"I came to ask you about someone". Tanjiro said while still looking away.

"Hm?"

"There was this teenage looking boy I met while walking out of Muzan's office, do you maybe have a clue on who it is?" He wasn't sure if Douma would have an idea of who he's talking about but he had to give it a shot.

"Hmm, I'm not sure but it could have been one of Hantengu's clones~" Douma said while giving off a smile.

"Thank you". Tanjiro simply said before walking out of there.

He walked back to Muzan's office but didn't go inside, he stood outside of the office and tried to catch his scent. When catching it, he started to walk down the hallway and then took some stairs down.

He walked around for a few minutes before the scent came from one of the rooms. He quickly ran to the door and opened it. Revealing six people.

"What do we have here?" One of them said, he had a maple leaf-shaped Uchiwa and seemed kind of happy?

"It's the boy who ran into me earlier today". It was the same teenage boy Tanjiro ran into, he looked kinda annoyed but in the meantime he looked calm.

"Oh um, I just wanted to check out on the one I bumped into?".

They stared at him while one of them chuckled.

"Well isn't that cute! How adorable of you!" One with wings said.

"Well, I just wanted to apologize for bumping into you". Tanjiro bowed down at them.

"H-hey...aren't you t-the boy Muzan-sama likes so m-much?" A small man said from behind the teenagers shoulder.

The others looked at Tanjiro with a questionable expression.

"You don't need to worry about that, I just came to apologize and nothing else". Tanjiro spoke so that the small man wouldn't be so concerned about it.

"But I would really like to know your name's?" Tanjiro asked while scratching the back of his head.

"I'll guess I'll introduce us then". The teenage boy said.

"I'm Zohakuten, this is Hantengu, the main body". He said while pointing at the small man on his shoulder.

"The one with the Uchiwa is Karaku, the one with a dejected expression is Aizetsu". The one who seemed to be Karaku just waved while giving of a grin, while Aizetsu just sat there staring.

"The last one's are Urogi and Sekido, the one with wings is Urogi and the one with an annoyed expression is Sekido". And that was it, Tanjiro would try to remember their name's in case he met them again.

He waved at them before walking out of the room, and some of them waved back.

He gently closed the door behind him and walked back to his room with a small smile.
