Special Chapter: In His Eyes

I crossed the road without watching out for the cars passing by because my eyes were focused on the man I was tailing since this morning.

I think a car horn beeped at me pero hindi ko 'yon pinansin dahil baka mawala siya sa paningin ko. Wala namang nangyaring aksidente kaya hindi ko na 'yon binigyang importansya.

I pulled the hood of my jacket even lower when he turned around, I can't let him see my face.

Kailangan kong malaman kung saan siya namamalagi so that I have enough information to give the guys for a new red string to be pulled in our spider web.

I was paranoid thinking that maybe she's the one they're after that's why they decided to come here. I would move both heaven and hell before they could touch Abigail.

The guy stopped in front of a mansion. It wouldn't seem suspicious if only it weren't for the guards surrounding the area with big guns.

Kinuha ko ang cellphone mula sa bulsa ko at nagsimulang maglakad paalis sa lugar na 'yon.

"Find it?" Bungad sa'kin ni Seth pagkatanggap niya ng tawag.

"A few kilometers in the outskirts of QC." Nilakad ko ang distansya papunta sa may supermarket kung saan ko pinark ang sasakyan ko at agad sumakay dito nang sinigurong walang sumusunod sa'kin.

"We're here, by the way." Bigla niyang sabi.

"Abby's?" I heard my sister was throwing a party tonight. They said it was her last, and to be honest I'm thankful that it is. I don't want her to live a life in a rowdy crowd where she can easily be abducted without anyone noticing.

Considering the loud music in his background I think I knew the answer, "Yeah."

"Be there in five." Binaba ko ang tawag at pinaharurot ang sasakyan patungo sa party house ni Abigail.

I had the house made for her personally para hindi siya magpupunta ng mga bars at clubs tuwing gusto niyang magpa-party. I even installed the security system myself to make sure she was safe all the time when she's there.

Si Seth kasi palaging nagku-kwento kay Abby tungkol sa mga parties na hinohost ko noon, at ewan ko ba sa kapatid kong 'yon kung bakit amazed na amazed siya dun at naisipan niyang sumunod sa mga yapak ko.

"Hey, bud." I grabbed Rain's hand and bumped on his shoulder, and I did it with the rest of the guys too.

"Got to say, this party reminds me of the ones I used to go to back in the days." Claud smirked at me.

I scoffed, "I don't even remember what I was back then."

"You say 'back in the days' as if we're so old." Cain stared at him coldly kaya napataas siya ng mga kamay.

"Biro lang. Relax." Napailing lang ako at tumingin kay Seth, "Have you seen Abigail?"

"She's in one of the couches inside." I nodded in thanks and told them that I'll greet my sister.

When I went inside, she wasn't by the couches, she was dancing on the dancefloor. I glared at the guy who was about to touch her ass, mabuti naman at napansin niya ako kaya lumayo agad siya sa kapatid ko.

"A—" I didn't even get to finish my sentence, she was already walking away from me. Mahina akong napailing at sumunod sa kaniya.

"Hoy! Bakit nagmumukmok kayo dito?!" She pointed at the girls seated on the couch she stopped at. She's tipsy but she's not drunk, so she's fine.
