This is going to be a bit longer than the previous chapter!

The lightfurys weren't going to let the problem in the Hidden World distract any dragon across the archipelagos from their own cause. Not for one second. Numbers grew in the ranks of the BoulderDeath followers, and more dragons spread out. More songs and signs of the Screaming Death of legend came to...

Birdsong whistled outside, the morning sun painted the sky a calming pale gold, contradictory to the hell of the previous day.

Aggro nudged Cutter, who was sleeping lightly in the Slinkwing cave beside her. His eyes blinked open instantly.

"What?" He whispered.

"Look." She said,

In the middle of the cave lay a pile of fish, freshly caught.

"You don't think the Slinkwings are actually trying to help us?"

"How so?" Cutter looked at her oddly before he noticed the fish, "Did they leave... food for us?"

"And look what they did to my cut while we were sleeping." Aggro pointed to a light layer of slime bandaging her cut, "I'm not grateful, it's too suspicious... and sticky. I want this off my face." She growled.

Cutter got to his claws, the pain had subsided and he took a confident step towards the fish. He sniffed each one and used the spike at the end of his tail to cut one open, as if trying to see if the Slinkwings messed with the food in any way.

"Does it look like it's poisoned?" Aggro walked up beside him.

"No? It doesn't smell or look like it, and I don't think the Slinkwings would stoop that low." Cutter frowned.

"Are you sure?" She looked at him skeptically, seriously doubting that the Slinkwings were that well reformed.

"Think so."

"Should we try to get back to the town?" She walked forward to look out of the cave at the trees.

"Let me see if I can fly." Cutter walked hesitantly around the fish to the outside. He raised his wings and she walked behind him in case he fell.

Cutter started to flap up, but his face twisted with each wingbeat, "It still aches to fly on it." He turned his head back.

"Come back down before you fall on me." She looked up at him.

He landed with a huff, "So we're walking again..."

"I don't want to wait for the Slinkwings, let's go now." Aggro started walking off into the bushes.

There was a startled gasp behind her. She turned around, "Cutter, what is it?"

"That wasn't me, I thought that was you." Cutter looked confused.

"You can't leave!" Snoop's head suddenly appeared hanging down and they both jumped back.

"Why not?" Aggro snorted, "Oh wait because we're 'prisoners', right?"

Snoop looked worried, and he came down from the tree he was camouflaging on, "Well, yeah, uh, that's why." He craned his neck towards the cave, "Did you eat the fish? I caught most of them myself!"

"Not... hungry." Cutter lied.

"What's your deal anyway? Are you helping us or are you hurting us?" Aggro went up to him, trying to make herself look big, although in reality Snoop towered over her.

"Don't tell Lurke I said this but-" The Slinkwing lowered his voice and his eyes darted around, "We feel bad for you guys. Huttsgalor practically lost all its huts! They're all black and gone now."
