An icy darkness pressed, seeping into every crack of the caverns below the Valkard isles. An unlucky few dragons shivered, kept under an unwavering, oppressive watch. All because they wouldn't welcome the rebellion like the others had.
Secluded in the frost, a tunnel branched off to the side, leading away from the other prisoners. Frozen in jagged spikes of ice, a dragon with shimmering black-gray and deep blue scales was stuck immobile. Electricity churned inside his iced spines, untapped. His eyes were narrowed with anger, his furious expression captured in time...

Dragon sentrys scoured the skies with sharp, super vision eyes, preventing any normal landing on the Valkard Isles. The Rescue Riders had to resort to more, sneakier ways of getting in.
"Cutter, you grew up here. Is there any secret way we could get on the island?" Leyla asked from her perch on Summer. They had all taken to the sea stacks for cover in order to not be seen.
"Not any entrance that they wouldn't already know about." The hybrid huffed, gripping the rock harder.
"Are you completely sure?" Summer leaned closer.
"There's more dragons out there from the islands than there are unfamiliar rebellion dragons, so they would definitely have all of them guarded... although..."
Aggro tipped her head to the side, "Although... what?"
"What if we disguise ourselves as natives to the island." Cutter said, new ideas suddenly dawning on him. He then looked over at Winger, "Some Swiftwings are from the island too, and I... er... still look somewhat close enough to pass as a Razowing so me and Winger can both probably make it in. And we know that the rebellion 'recruits' other dragons so we could bring you guys in and say we recruited you."
"Woah, nice plan. I would have never have thought of that!" Burple exclaimed, shaking his tail.
Aggro smiled warmly over at Cutter, slight warmth rising from her scales. 'He's so smart.' She thought proudly, before catching herself thinking that and looking away.
"Sounds good, but how do we sneak us in?" Dak gestured to him and his sister.
Summer piped up, "I could bring you to the island underwater, just the three of us should be unnoticable with everyone else distracting the guards."
Everyone nodded, and raised their wings to launch their plan, before a certain nadder squawked, "What about me?"
"Your a nadder so..." Cutter looked back, thinking hard, "You can just reinforce our 'we're bringing in new recruits' story."
The spines crowning Parrot's head flattened, but he didn't protest, he just spiked and unspiked his tail nervously.
And just like that the Rescue Riders took off, soaring over the ocean water or taking deep breaths to dive under the waves.
"Here, arrange into... some sort of a formation." Winger told the others, "We need to look as convincing as possible." He puffed out his chest while Aggro and Burple trailed to the back of the pack.
Winger took notice of Parrot's lagging behind, "Uh Parrot, maybe you should come up more in the front so-"
"Shush! Here they come!" Cutter hissed as two dragons, one an emerald green and mint-colored Swiftwing and the other a young deep blue Zoomerang with gold highlights, came flying up the them as they approached the main island.
The Swiftwing scanned his yellow eyes over the crowd, looking from Cutter, to Parrot, to Winger, then intensely staring at Aggro and Burple.
"Excuse me, we're just going to land mr and mrs." Winger put on his best formal impression.
