yeah b. is a shit dad but im not

In were dick tells jason that he will be his father frome now on. Evin tho it sounded werid for evreyone, jason actually felt comfetable whit the thought that he can call dick 'dad'.

(For short, jason is sad becuse bruce is a shitty dad <only in this oneshot> and dick always felt like jason was more then an teammate to him, he actually felt like he had to take care of the kid like he was his dad. So he will be like his dad. A good one.)

3rd POV.

Jason shruged when he heard dick compain about him trying to do a one man move and try to defet all the ohter criminals wich coused the mission to fail and evreyone havibg to fight an uneccererly fight.

"Jason todd. I told you multiple times THAT YOU ARNT ALONE IN THIS FUCKING TEAM. YOU ARN'T WHIT BADMAN YOU ARE WHIT A TEAM WHO DOSENT JUST BEATS PEOPLE UP! no patrol for 6 weeks. You will also be not alowayd in the training room for 2 weeks NOW GO TO YOUR ROOM YOUR FUCKING GROUNDED!" Dick had enough frome jason thinking that he was alone, ofc its hard to turn frome having to fight alone whit badman on your side to having a team and having to hold onto ruels.
But jason just wouldnt listen!
So he had no ohter choice difrent to just give that boy now more harsher treatment.

Jason eyes widden and his expression changed to mad and shocked, he opend his mouth in protest but before he said anything, somthing must of changed jasons mind of cursing dick out and being mad, he closed his mouth and his expresion changed to an 'more giving up' look and he walked into his room.

Evreyone in the room was shocked including dick! Jason just gave up whit out a fight.

Dick knew that he would not be able to sleep at night whdn he wont ask jason right now what just crossed his mind.

Dick quikly follows jason who just slammed his door shut like an kid who got told of.

Dick opend the door and closed it. It was unecerserly to let the ohters see jason frustaded, it would be probly just humaliayting.

"Jason." Jason jumped on his bed laying face down on hid pillow, he trows a pillow at dicks face.
"Leave me alone!" Jason said muffeld frome the pillow
"No." Dick answerd
"Stop treating me like a child!"
It was a normal agrument teenagers had.
"Jason your not only acting like one you still ARE one. Your only 16. And thats why i am treating you like a child. And if you cant evib handle normal treatment then dont be mad when im giving you harsh treatment!" Dick says, sitting down on the chair that was next to jasons desk.

"Fuck you" jason says standing up leaving his room, he wants to go out of the tower but when he reached th livingroom he was pulled back by his wrist.

"Jason. I said you were grounded. No going out." Dick says harshly. The ohters were just staring.
Jason felt humaliyted. He didnt want anyone of them to stare.
But now he couldnt get out of this fight.
"Your not my fucking dad dick! You may be the leader but you cant just go out there, take strays, and act like there family!" Jason directly regreted what he said when he saw a mad look in dicks face.

"Jason. Bruce might of let you do all that stuff, BUT I WONT KET YOU FUCKING DO IT. YOUR MY RESPONSIBILITY NOW. BRUCE ISINT HERE BUT I AM WICH MEANS YOU LIVE WHIT IT OUR YOU GO BACK TO THE FUCKING ADOPTING SENTER. OR EVIN ON THE STREETS!" This part stung jason really hard. "You got way to hard spoilld by bruce. I will teach you the right way evin if it means i will have to act like the father." Dick finnishes. Jason felt hurt, but at the same time he understood.

"Jason bruce is a shitty dad. He may give you cool stuff and a home but pareting and teaching your child on how to act is somthing diffrent that bruce has no skills to. But i fucking do. Amd i will paremt you more then anyone in your life did. Maby people would call it being free but you would hate it in the frutere having no one who evin tried to parent you! So stop fucking pushing us away and let me give you somthing you should be pleading for!" Dick says. It was a strong talk. And indeed jason felt evrey word of it sink deep into his mind. Jason ofc enjoyed the feeling of no one grounding him and and being able to do anything whit out conciquenses. But at the samw time he wanted it. He wanted to experience a normal child hood and nit be some fuck up left on the street, just to end up to a spoild hero.

A sob came frome jason. No one ever saw jason cry. Dick sighs and steps closer to jason and hugs him. "I want you to be able to have a child hood and i want you to be able to have a dad. Evin if im only 6 years older i am still responsible for you and evin if you find it werid i am your 'dad' now." Dick says, softly wanting jason to clam.

Evreyone in an shook but at the same time in awe. An moment betwen these two..brothers? Dad and son? They didint evin knew anmore.

Jason cried and sobbed in dicks shoulder hugging him tightly. Dick k ew whats best fod jason evin if it was harsh. And jason was happy dick could see right through him.

"Thank you da- dick" jason mutters. The end a bit sharp. He barly just said dad.

The ohters and expaccily dick noticed it ofc, the ohters laughing heartwarmed and dick just choukels. "Aw no need to thank me. Son." Jason playfully hits dick in the chest after that.

"Your still grounded tho." Dick says having his parentinh sharp tone. It made jason shudder.

"Yeah yeah i know" jason says, kinda annoyed. "But. How abaout we have a little movie night son." Dick says, again saying son. He wasnt going to get rid of it. "Just we two" dick says. Making the ohters groan. Ofc they knew it was so jason could warm more up to his now new 'father' but still they couldnt help it.

"Sure. 'Dad' "
