MOON GIRLS (LOONA BAND AU)

CHAPTER 15

Blood Moon and Blue Butterflies are preparing for rehearsal at the venue of the concert. All artists gathered there for sound checks including the MCs.

"check, one, two." Minju tested the mic. Minho the other MC walked to her.

"how's it?"

"ah, it's fine. I'm excited for the bands performance." Minju smiled at him.

"oh, look. DIVE is already on stage." Minho averted his gaze at the stage.

DIVE propped their instruments at the stage. They requested to use their own instruments.

Yujin saw Minju with Minho talking from the stage.

"hey..." Gaeul gave Yujin her mic. "don't think about it. We don't have much time." Gaeul tucked strands of hair behind Yujin's ear.

They start by doing the unit. Yujin, Liz, and Rei.

"... Not a single day has passed where I'm not missing you here. Not a single year has gone where I'm not missing you dear. My heart breaks the more that you're gone. I'm still missing you right here, missing you my dear..."

Yujin ended the song. She's aware that Minju was watching her the whole time. Sure, the others are also watching, but only Minju caught her eyes.

Yujin then gave the que to start their own song.

"you're up next." Yujin said to Jinsoul in the huge greenroom that the company prepared for their artists. The room is divided by some tall room dividers.

"wish me luck! I'm so nervous." Jinsoul put her hand on her chest.

"you'll do great, soul." Yujin said. Jinsoul gave her a glare knowing that Yujin didn't use honorific in public place. "unnie..." Yujin giggled.

"thanks." Jinsoul smile again. "you put a lot of feelings in that song." Jinsoul noticed.

"I got carried away, don't worry." Yujin gave her a sad smile.

Soon after, Blue Butterflies started the rehearsal. It runs smoothly throughout the song. They decided to do one of their B-sides.

After that, they heard faint applause from the staff and of course the other artist that's on their free time.

"thank you for the hard work!" Gowon said to the staff then Blue Butterflies went backstage.

"good luck on your rehearsal!" Chuu cheered Blood Moon up.

"thanks jiwoo. You work so hard for this too." Vivi said to her.

"buy me ice cream after this! Please?" Yeojin linked her arms with Chuu.

"sure. now go up there!" Chuu clasped her hands together.

Chuu noticed that Yves didn't look as excited as others. She walked to her planning to cheer her up.

"are you nervous?" Chuu put her hand on her shoulder.

"I never get nervous." Yves held Chuu's hand and put it away.

"okay." Chuu turned around. Before she could walk away, Yves took her wrist. Chuu turned to her again.

"thank you." Yves gave a small smile. Chuu smiled back at her.

"you can always talk to me. don't forget that."

"I can't control my feelings." Yves said to Chuu looking into her eyes, as if she wants to say something but couldn't.

"then you shouldn't." Chuu just gave her a smile.

Blood Moon come up to the stage and prepared their positions.

"we'll start with Favorite." Kimlip told the staff.

The rehearsal went accordingly to plan. Blood Moon and Blue Butterflies had some time to rest before they perform with each other.

Still at the venue, they spend time with themselves or talking with other artists.

"oh there's camera!" Yeojin informed haseul who sat beside her. "hello, guys!"

"why do we have to shoot together." Haseul playfully pouted at the camera. The cameraman panned to Yeojin.

"she actually love me, don't worry." Yeojin leaned on Haseul's shoulder.

The cameraman then moved to other location. He spotted Olivia and Gowon and decided to shoot them.

"is this for behind video?" Gowon asked the cameraman and he just nodded. "I'm here with Olivia Hye." Gowon put her hand on Olivia's shoulder.

"hey, guys. we'll be performing together with Blood Moon for this stage." Olivia said with a straight face.

"you must be curious for the song that we prepared for it." Gowon clasped her hand excitingly. "it's really hard to work with 11 people at the same time." She added.

"maybe you're the one who made it hard." Olivia smirked at her. Gowon slapped her arm. Olivia retuned it with a good laugh.

"yeah, she's right. It's pretty tiring but the song came out great. Look forward to it." Olivia gave a thumbs up to the camera.

The cameraman nodded indicating a thank you then headed elsewhere.

"yeah, that's good. Then I'll go like this." Hyunjin then picked her bass and did a freestyle.

"ooh that's a good slap." Heejin gave her a compliment. She then looked up to find a cameraman. "we almost got caught!" Heejin pouted slightly.

"what should we expect from the collab stage?" asked the cameraman.

"duet." Hyunjin simply replied.

"I think so too. There will be some duet. We'll let you guess the rest." Heejin added and smiled to the camera.

The cameraman found Yves, Vivi, Kimlip and Jinsoul lounging together eating their dinner.

"the food is good, guys." Yves showed her food to the camera.

Kimlip showed a peace sign and smiled at it.

Jinsoul drank her water and wave.

"I'm having bulgogi and some salad. I also have this iced tea since I can't have coffee tonight." Vivi showed the camera what she ate and drink.

"Blue Butterflies and Blood Moon unit ready!" the staff informed from the audio station located at the back of audiences' seats.

The four of them got into character. The song started with Heejin and ended with Kimlip and Jinsoul.

La da da da da da da~

Yeah yeah, you know damn well that we're not friends.

Kimlip gave Jinsoul a sharp gaze. She somehow put a lot of emotions in this song. Jinsoul felt like she's mad at her. she looked down and took off her in ear. Jinsoul hurriedly left the stage holding her tears.

Kimlip sighed and went to say thank you to the staffs with the rest of the members.

"I swear, if you made her cry..." Olivia said to Kimlip then went to chase Jinsoul.

Once she found her, she saw Jinsoul with haseul and Heejin.

"are you okay?" Olivia leaned down a little to make sure she's not crying. Unfortunately, she did.

"stop crying." Olivia paused, feeling uncomfortable to see someone cry. "let's finish the rehearsal then you can cry again." Olivia just left.
