CHAPTER 11

"phew... these stuff for the LOONAVERSE are stacked. Glad that I can finish it." Juhyeon cracked her knuckles and stretched her neck.

They currently working on the schedules for the concert in the division room.

"you need help?" Chuu leaned to her. she already manages the schedule so now she has a little free time.

"oh, it's okay. I can handle it." Juhyeon stood up. "I will go to the café. Do you want anything?"

"oh, I'll go with you, then." Chuu grabbed her purse. Juhyeon smiled at the shorter girl.

Once they arrived at the company's café, juhyeon went to order while Chuu look for a table. She sat when she found one. Chuu reviewed the schedules while waiting for juhyeon.

"hey, manager." Chuu looked up at the voice. Yves.

"hey sooyoung." Chuu smiled a little.

Juhyeon walked back to Chuu. She noticed Yves is there.

"good evening, miss." Juhyeon smiled and bowed to her. Yves just stare at her blankly.

"she's juhyeon. the manager of lightyears." Chuu explained. Yves put her hands on her pocket and nodded.

"I'll be going. Bye." Yves then walked away.

"she's a little... quiet." Juhyeon said.

"yeah. Maybe she's tired."

"let's go back then." Juhyeon offered her hand to Chuu which she took gladly.

Yves took one lollipop, unwrapped it and put it on her mouth. She's currently on the rooftop where she usually hangs out. she opened her phone and played with it.

"sup, sooyoung." Yves looked to her right.

"hey, Yujin. You look more... handsome." Yves gave her a nudge.

Yujin and Yves are old friends. They live in the same neighborhood. Even though Yujin is 2 years younger than Yves, she's allowed to speak casually to Yves.

"thanks. One of your friends thought so too." Yujin took one cigarette and put it in her mouth.

"you still smoke?" Yves asked and Yujin just nodded. "my friend who?"

"Jinsoul. I smoked occasionally. This is like, my first in a week."

Yves just smirked and scoffed. "so you got your eyes on her."

"is that bad? You're just the same." Yujin chuckled and elbowed Yves playfully.

"not bad. I think she's attractive either." Yves took the lollipop out of her mouth and extended her hand.

"I thought you stopped." Yujin gave her one cigarette. "you have any trouble?"

"I did. This is my first in a year." She lighted it with Yujin's help. "I feel like I have but I don't know what it is."

They continued to chat until night time.

"did you smoke again?" Chuu asked Yves who's back from the rooftop. Kimlip is also there.

"I'm out with a friend." Yves replied lazily. She walked straight to her room.

Chuu ignored her. Chuu remembered the time where she asked her to stop smoking.

*flashback*

Yves put her bag on the couch. Blood Moon just finished their last debut stage so, they had a little break. Yves took her phone and coat then walked to the door.

"where are you going?" Chuu noticed Yves in a hurry. "you should rest."

"I'm going out. I'll be back soon." Yves headed to the rooftop.

She took out one cigarette and lights it up. She puffed the cigarette deeply and let it out. she then took out her phone and opened her gallery.

"I'm sorry Gahyeon. We had to end this way." She stares at her phone and got lost in her thoughts.

"sooyoung?" hearing the voice, Yves threw her cigarette on the floor and stepped on it. "you smoke?" Chuu slapped her arms. She put her dried blanket around her upper body.

Yves didn't look at Chuu. She avoided her gaze.

"it's not healthy for you! Please stop. I don't want you to get sick." Chuu sulked.

Again, Yves didn't answer. She scoffed instead. She looked down at Chuu since she's a little shorter than her.

"I want you to stop smoking. I won't defend you if the other find out." Chuu said worriedly. Yves smiled a little at her.

"thanks for your concern." Yves ran her fingers through her hair and walked back.

*end*

She didn't see Yves smoke ever since. They got close instead.

"maybe she's stressed." Kimlip said while surfing through the channel.

Yujin sat alone in the company's café drinking her latte. She played with her phone to kill time.

"hey, Yujin." Jinsoul stood in front of Yujin giving her a smile.

"hey..." she smiled back. "are you alone?" Yujin looked around.

"yeah, I just bought this." Jinsoul showed her a paper bag that she holds.

Yujin hummed. "are you free after this?"

"I'm going to practice."

"mind if I come with you?" Yujin stood up.

"no, not at all." Jinsoul spontaneously took Yujin's hand and they walked together.

They chatted along the way. There are no awkward vibes at all.

"hey Jinsoul." Jinsoul looked at the source of the voice.

"oh, jungeun. What's up?"

"I was about to ask you about the stage. But I supposed you're busy. I'm just gonna go." Kimlip noticed they're holding hands so she just backed away.

"oh, okay then. I'll see you at practice tomorrow." Jinsoul walked past her.

Kimlip felt her heart ripped into pieces.

"I'm so stupid." Kimlip said to herself.

"ooh... you want this? This will look good on you." Haseul said to Vivi. She's in Blood Moon's dorm right now.

"let's look at the others. That's too expensive." Vivi suggested.

They're online shopping. Apparently, they have the same hobby.

"guys, I'm hungry." Yeojin sat beside haseul. "you never buy me anything anymore." She pouted at her cousin.

"don't talk nonsense. I bought you that... and that." haseul pointed at an action figure and a purse that she bought for Yeojin a few weeks ago.

"hihi... alright. Nowbuy some food~"
