I wasn't sure what was going on, but the twins were bickering all day. Yesterday, they were all cozy and warm and now they're two killing machines fighting each other. I tried to stay out of it, but it frustrated me that I couldn't see anything. I fiddled with my hands. 'You're okay, lil'lady? You look stressed.' Jazz laid his hand on my shoulder. Usually, I would've heard him coming in but not today. 'Oh, Uhm... yeah, what's the fight about? Why are they fighting all day?' I asked. He sat down next to me. 'My hearing is all I have and they're talking in Cybertronian so I've no idea what is going on and why they're so mad.'

'Relax. It has nothing to do with you. You didn't do anything wrong. They're arguing about a mission. Sideswipe doesn't want Sunstreaker to go alone and Sideswipe doesn't want to leave,' he said. 'Let me guess, because of me. So this entire ordeal is because of me,' I mocked. 'No, no... not necessarily.' I snorted and shook my head. 'This is stupid. Mechs are idiots sometimes,' I mocked. 'I know. That's what mechs do. They fight over their girls. They really like you so it's more... a heated discussion about what they should do.'

'But I am not alone here. You're here, Prime is here. If I am dying I have Ratchet so what's the big deal? I'll be fine.' He snorted. 'That's not what they see. They're ego is big. Sideswipe feels like he should stay and protect you. He knows not all soldiers are nice. Sunstreaker is just a complete jackass right now, making a fuss about nothing. He started the whole damn thing.' I laughed. 'Of course he did.'

'Sweetspark?'

I perked my head up. 'Finally, you two stopped fighting. That's about time. I thought it would never end,' I scoffed and tapped irritatedly with my fingers on the wooden table. 'I am sorry, we are trying to sort things out,' Sideswipe sighed. 'Really? My hearing is all I have and you two start talking in Cybertronian. That's absolutely great, so thank you for that. Seriously, drop your ego and go on this mission. I'll be fine.'

'That's the entire point. I don't wanna leave you.'

'Here we go again! She's fine. She can handle it. She's not alone,' Sunstreaker snarled. 'Thank you. Finally someone who understands,' I scoffed. 'Still, she doesn't deserve to be used as a punching bag,' Sideswipe snarled. 'I'll keep an eye on her. Just go,' Jazz stated. Sunstreaker kissed my cheek. 'He is a good girl.' He walked off but didn't exit the room yet. Sideswipe sighed. 'Go! I'll be fine.' He grunted and lifted my head, kissing my forehead. 'Fine but one scratch and you'll be stuck with me forever.' I smiled and nodded. 'Just go, your brother is waiting for you.'

I listened to their footsteps fading. 'Mechs,' I mocked.

I was left alone for the rest of the day. Slowly but steadily, I walked back to my room. As I nearly reached it, I got kicked in my knee cavity. I fell face first on the ground, my forehead hitting the hard floor. I cried out in pain. 'Sorry, I thought you could see me coming.' I got kicked in my flanks. I tried to hit the person doing this to me, but I missed. 'You missed!' I kicked. The person moved away so quickly and kicked me again and again. 'Stop! Stop, just stop.' I crawled against the wall.

'I am sorry, did I hurt you?'

'Who are you?' I asked. She laughed. 'Like I am going to give an answer to that,' she mocked. She grasped my throat and pushed me against the wall. 'Are you crying now?' She asked. 'Please, stop...' my whisper wasn't heard. 'You're so pathetic. It's a shame you ended up like this. A blind, ugly brat that can't even write anymore. You're useless without your eyes.'

I felt the tears sting in my eyes. I tried so hard to stay positive but she dragged me down with her words and statements. 'The twins don't belong to you. Just saying'... trying to save you from some pain when they dump you for someone who can see.' I felt tears wiggling down my cheeks. 'You truly are a crybaby, huh?' She asked while tightening her grip on my sore throat. Each inhale became harder and harder. I couldn't breathe anymore. 'So pathetic,' she mocked. 'Please, leave me alone,' I whispered. 'You think you're so amazing, but that's all a lie.' I shut my blind eyes, trying to block the pain and her voice. 'I want to be alone,' I whispered. 'So you can cry?' she laughed. 'No, so I don't have to listen. Perhaps being blind has its perks. Now I don't' have to see your ugly face,' I mocked. She punched me right in the guts.

The pain was horrible. 'You should've died, Skyler.' I turned my head away, even though I couldn't see her. 'It doesn't matter how optimistic you are trying to be, in the end, you're screwed and you'll always be that blind, useless brat that will rot away eventually. People move on, they stop carrying, they won't look back at you and who will be there to look after you? What are you going to do with your life?' she asked. I clenched my jaws together. 'You will forget how you look, how other people look. Things will change and you will never be able to see them. You don't even know how handsome Sideswipe is.' I swallowed the lump in my throat. 'Think about it, Skyler. Think about what you want because... you don't deserve to be alive. You don't deserve anything but your blindness,' she snapped and got up,– walking off and left me here all alone in the hallway.

I pulled my knees higher to my chest, allowing more tears to flow down my cheeks. Maybe she's right, maybe I shouldn't be alive.
