Sunstreaker must have been close behind. People gave me wide berth, didn't even dare to stop or join me. That they had ever done that before, but it felt different. As if they were afraid. How can I blame them? My blind eyes dragged around the room. I saw nothing but darkness and sometimes, if I was lucky, smudges of light. Only on shinny days and a light room. I angled my head towards the commotion not too far behind. Some bickering soldiers. It's always the same with these guys. It's either their ego or a girl.
I turned my attention back to my plate. Sideswipe had left an hour ago and Sunstreaker had escorted me personally to the mess hall. After coming up with a lame excuse he left, but didn't went far apparently. Probably to assess everyone, potential threats and use me as bait. At least the humans males weren't stupid enough to take the bait. I poked in the food, my scrambled eggs that had gone cold by now. I wasn't the type of girl to judge food, but the flavor was oddly bland. As if the salt and pepper was completely forgotten.
Footsteps. Firm and steady steps towards my table and then the smell of perfume and death. Sunstreaker. I perched my head into his direction and the room had gone utterly quiet. 'Do I want to know what you look like?' His low snarl send shivers down my spine. A soft metal thud on the table. No doubt that deadly knife of his. I reached for it. The handle warm and I felt a wet substance on the blade. 'Is that blood?' He snorted but didn't take his knife back, surprisingly. 'I had to make a statement.' I dropped the knife and it splattered onto the table with a loud clang. The loud, long, ringing noise of knife hitting the metal table vibrated through my ears and skull. 'Are you serious?'
'Do you see me smile.'
I gave him a bland stare to which he, no doubt, rolled his eyes at. 'You're a prick sometimes.' He reached for his knife, making sure I heard the scarping of the sharp edge over the table. Perhaps a silent warning not to push it or perhaps to scare off some eavesdropping soldiers. I couldn't tell or sense. 'Not hungry?' He already snitched my plate and shove it closer towards him. I listened to his eating and slumped back, tapping on the table. 'You are angry. I can feel it.' He let out a low, dangerous snarl. 'I am, yes. Great you noticed.' I let my blind eyes stare at him. 'It's creepy. Stop doing that.'
I grinned and lowered my head. 'You look lovely by the way.' I snorted. 'Thank you.' He ate in silence and when he finished, I rose from my seat to follow him. I hooked my arm in his and let him guide me through the crowd. I heard the whisperers from the roomies not too far. I clearly heard their gossips. Sunstreaker did too, he halted. 'Sunny, it's not worth it.'
'You are worth it.'
He let go of my arm. Again, the room quieted. All I heard was my thundering heart. People backed off, so he either was completely covered in blood, or he had a certain look on his face. 'Do you mind repeating that?' I braced my hands on a nearby chair to keep myself from trembling. A male spoke up, a young one by the voice of it. 'We were just... chatting about... training.' Sunstreaker hated lying. He hated it enough to grab the poor soul. The male screamed and people gasped. 'Training? I heard you talking about her.' No doubt he pointed at me. 'I didn't want to... insult her.' I heard bones cracking, followed by a scream. I flinched, and tightened my grip on the chair.
'Please, please... stop,' the male cried. Moments like this, I was glad I couldn't see what was happening. 'Please!' I stepped closer to the sounds. 'Sunstreaker, stop. Leave him alone.' The male cried out a fourth time before Sunstreaker stepped back and tightly grabbed me. I felt my shirt stain with something coming off him. Blood. I shivered at the idea. Sunstreaker led me through the halls, back to my room.

Skylar sat down on my bed. I was glad she wasn't able to see me. Blood dropped from my face, into my neck. Her blind eyes stared at me. Sometimes I wondered if she was truly blind. I took off my shirts and pants and she moved her head with every movement I made, tracking me. 'Are you naked yet?' I barked a laugh. Maybe her attempt to get me out of my angry state. 'You want me to be naked, Skylar darling.' She blushed but got up, approaching me. Her hands grabbed my hips. I had not expected that from her.
'I've always wondered something.'
I hummed, focusing on her fingers idly circling over my hip bones. Slowly, teasingly. 'Are you a better kisser than your twin brother,' I smirked and I wish she could see it. 'You are an evil creature.' She grasped the waist band of my boxershorts and pulled it down. It dropped to my ankles and I studied her features. Her hands slid over my chest, tracing every curve of my muscles and collarbone. 'What do you want, Skylar?'
I knew what she wanted but never thought she would want it from me. The door opened and she was too focused to even notice Sideswipe. I smirked at it him all he gave me was a vulgar gesture. The jealously rattled down the bond. "You prick!" He scolded mine-to-mind. His stark blue eyes focused on Skylar with lethal precision. I dared my twin to get closer, to trap her between us but he didn't. He usually would. We make a good duo, but he was careful now.
She traced my abs down and stopped just before she could get between my legs, as if she hesitated. Her blind eyes stared at me, probably a silent question. 'What do you want?' She angled her head. No one ever asked me that before. I blinked and glanced at my twin. All he did was shrug. I looked back at her. A smile curved on her lips and k was sure that it she was able to see, she would be blushing but also explore every inch of my body nevertheless. 'What I want?' I didn't even know why she bothered to lift her head up and down, as if she could see me.
'Why would you bother asking me that?' She snorted and took a step back. 'Why wouldn't I?' She angled her head, ever so slightly. I looked at my twin again, I wasn't the one to do the talking. Sideswipe approached. 'Sunstreaker would certainly enjoy it, but the bastard forgot our meeting in ten minutes.' I went rigid. Our meeting was planned for 2 PM, not now. I cocked a brow at my brother, but he didn't look at me nor answered my question over the bond. Fair enough, I'll ask him later then.
Skylar sat down, shrugging. I pulled my boxers back up and reached for the closet. My brother watched every move and we didn't talk until I was ready to talk to my brother in private somewhere else. 'You really wanted me to... fuck you?' Her blind eyes stared at me and she nodded. 'I'm blind, but that doesn't mean I can use other parts.' True, true. 'I'm a psychopath.' She shrugged. 'Sideswipe said you're good.' I snapped my head to my brother who stared at her with wide eyes. 'You two usually frag femmes together so I assume he knows.'
'You...' I crossed my arms. '... are a horrible creature.' She barked a laugh. 'Am I? After the things Sideswipe told me—' my brother cut her off. 'We need to go. Why don't you take a cold shower.' She grinned and slipped off the bed, walking up the bathroom as if she wasn't blind at all. I followed my twin. 'Really?' He shrugged. 'Who am I to deny a females' question about certain skills of mine?' He smirked. The smile faded after a seconds. 'I promised Ratchet to be careful with her. I want to be sure she's absolutely, 100% comfortable with this. She's not like the other females we shared a bed with. You in particular like to go hard and rough. She might doesn't like that as much as you do.'
My brother surveyed me before he added. 'And you smell like blood. She might not be able to smell it, but at least make sure you're clean of death and blood.' I rolled my eyes. 'I didn't kill anyone this time. Just made a statement.' He hummed. We took a turn and headed for the training room. My brother no doubt wanted to help me get rid of some tension and frustration and it wouldn't only be in his benefit.
