Chapter 3: Math

I watched Sky wander around, trip and collapse. I sighed softly, she's complicated but I secretly do admire her strength and spirit. She just seemed lost. Even blind in one eye, I can see and sense sadness. I hated to feel this towards a human femme, but it is the way it is. I approached her and pushed something out of the way. "I don't need your help!" She snapped.

"Come on."
Without protest, she followed me. The cafeteria was quiet, nearly no one was around. "Sit down." She obeyed me and looked up to me, even she was barely able to see me. "Tea? Soda?" I asked. She hesitated but answered with; "tea." Which I made for her.

I settled in front of her when I handed her the tea and she seemed to calm down a little bit. I feel like she's happy to have some company. I saw her visibly relax even I didn't talk to her. After ten minutes she looked up to me again. "Why did you make this for me? Another game of yours?" She asked. "No, it was genuine to calm you down a little bit," I replied. She hummed and took another sip of her tea.

"Do you have hobbies?"
"I had... I used to draw a lot. Hyper realism but I don't draw anymore because I can't see what I am doing. I also used to ride horse, but I can't do that anymore either, I am barely able to read, can't watch TV, can't play games, I can't go out for a run, nor join people in the gym. It's rather listening to the TV, talking to people or making homework."

"How do you do that? Make homework?"
"It takes a lot of effort to read. I have only 30% on my right eye. It's not much but still 30%. I don't enjoy reading anymore either. It just takes too much effort and it tired me out."

It's so hard for me to realize how she might feel. It doesn't make me feel guilty, I barely feel any guilt or mercy for people but I love drawing and if I am not able to draw anymore and express myself I would go nuts. She must feel the same way but doesn't show it.
