Getting a job wasn't too hard for Sunny to accomplish. At least not doing so many odd jobs during his first few days out of his shut-in days. Out of the random jobs Sunny pertook, Gino's was the first place he interviewed and was successfully hired. Since the owner already let Sunny work for him a couple times, it was no surprise that he was willing to let Sunny in. During the first week of living alone with Aubrey, he has decided to apply for Gino's as a full time employee. Homeschool won't start until another couple months, but Sunny doesn't feel like he has the time to relax. He and Aubrey know that they need to start doing things on their own if they want to earn their independence. In Aubrey's case, since she is freeloading and not paying rent, she is also looking for part time gigs too. After all, Officer Chandler and Officer Quinn will be visiting soon to check up on them and neither can afford to sit and relax. Today will be the first day working full time at Gino's and getting up Monday morning isn't too bad for Sunny. However, despite his readiness, Aubrey was still a bit worried.

"You got your badge, uniform, and keys?" Aubrey asks. "Did you pack in extra eyepatch and eye drops?"

"Yup." Sunny answers while checking his backpack and pockets.

"Don't forget to hydrate yourself since working in the kitchen can get hot." Aubrey adds.

"Ok." Sunny said as he opened the door. "I have a water bottle with me."

"It's fine if you stay late ok, in case you want to make a good impression." Aubrey continues.

"It's fine. I have a schedule." Sunny said, a bit annoyed from Aubrey's overprotectiveness.

"Also..."

"You know, if you keep this up, I'll be late on my first day." Sunny interrupts Aubrey before she could continue. "Relax, I'll be fine."

"Ok then, just be safe." Aubrey said, obviously worried.

"Don't worry about it." Sunny said smiling. "It's Gino's. How hard can it be?"

With that, Sunny leaves his house and walks over to his local pizzeria. Once Sunny gets inside Gino's he's glad to know that he arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule. It didn't take long before he saw the owner of Gino's at the cashier.

"Hello, Sunny. Let me give you your first assignment." said the boss of the pizza joint. "I need you to clean up the tables. Wipe them down before we open up the place."

Sunny nods and goes back to change in his uniform before starting his first task. Sunny goes to the counter to grab the cloth and spray bottle. He looks at the clock and sees that he has about twenty minutes to finish his first job. With only seven tables inside, Sunny has faith that he can pull it off. After a few minutes, Sunny was able to wipe down two of the bigger tables.

Cling.

The front door of the parlor opens and in comes the pizza guy who has been giving out orders from before. The young man walks up to Sunny and adjusts his glasses.

"Hey, Newbie." the pizza guy said. "Oh, you were the boy from before. What's with the eyepatch?"

"Um, injury." Sunny answers hesitantly.

The pizza guy walks a bit too close for Sunny's comfort.

"Don't forget to mop and wipe down the machines in the back." the man said before heading out back.

"Oh. Sure." Sunny answers. "But the boss..."

"Don't be lazing around, hear me?" the pizza guy asks sternly. "Starting today, you're full time."
