I don't own Omori.

Enjoying some delicious pepperoni pizza at Gino's is Basil and Kel who're also watching Sunny working behind the register. Aubrey was back at home doing chores and Hero went back to college so it was just the three of them.

"Man, when was the last time we had a boys day?" Kel asks Basil as he eats another slice of his pizza.

"We never had since, well, you know." Basil said awkwardly. "Either way, we did everything together so why bring it up now?"

"It's great and all that we can all hangout, but don't you wish we can do just guy stuff?" Kel asks. "You know, without Aubrey or Kim?"

Basil shrugs his shoulders in response causing Kel to sigh. Kel quickly finishes the rest of his pepperoni pizza and chugs the rest of his Orange Joe.

"Hey, Sunny!" Kel shouts. "Listen to this!"

Much to Kel's annoyance, Sunny doesn't answer nor even acknowledge Kel's call out.

"Sunny!"

"...."

"Sun.."

"Don't talk to me during work hours, Kel!" Sunny angrily snaps. "Wait until I'm done with my shift."

As of late, Sunny has been showing more emotion. Laughter, anger, sadness, little by little, while Sunny is still stoic most of the time, his expressions are slowly showing. Which is a good thing, but is still something getting used to by his childhood friends who are still used to passive Sunny. Seeing as Sunny almost never gets angry, Kel felt a little bad.

"C'mon Kel, wanna wait at my place until Sunny is done with his shift?" Basil suggests. "We can talk about your 'boy days out' project there."

"Fine." Kel mutters after gulping down his last slice of pizza. "Meet us there Sunny!"

Sunny simply waves his hand in response and the two boys leave the parlor. The walk to Basil's house was quiet as the two were simply taking their time listening to the cars driving by and birds chirping. After a couple minutes, they made it to Basil's house.

"I'm home!" Basil calls out. "Are you here, Polly?"

There was silence for a while before Polly peeks from behind the wall.

"Welcome back, Basil." Polly said, waving. "Hello to you too, Kel."

"Hello, Miss Polly." Kel greets.

"Polly is just fine, dear." Polly said smiling. "No need for honorifics, dear."

Kel nods with a smile and Polly walks off leaving the two boys sitting in the living room.

"So, you wanted a boys only day?" Basil asks. "Why the sudden urge?"

"You, Sunny, Aubrey, and Kim are all having fun while I'm babysitting Sally and doing house chores. I want to spend time with you all as well!" Kel complains. "Of course I would feel left out and now that Sunny and Aubrey are hitched, I feel even more lonely since I can't get in their way anymore!"

Kel was surprisingly modest, but the way he says things are a bit questionable.

"I guess I can't deny that you haven't been around with us." Basil said, nodding his head. "But you have always been off playing basketball and sports stuff with your other buddies."

Kel waves his finger at Basil.

"They're my basketball friends, not my childhood friends." Basil clarified. "A distinct difference."
