"Hey! Sunny!"

...My head...

"C'mon, Sunny! Wake up!"

...This voice...why does it sound...

"Hello? How long are you going to lay there little brother?"

...little...brother?

"Little brother?!"

Sunny immediately sits up, causing him to pull a muscle in his back.

"Well, well, well! About time you got up."

Sunny looks up and his eyes widened with shock as he sees someone who should not be here.

"There is no way." Sunny gasps. "Mari?"

Despite how impossible it is, without a doubt, standing before him was Mari. Mari's appearance is much older than Sunny remembers as she looks to be in her late teens age wise and is dressed in a casual white button up shirt and dark pants. Sunny gets up and takes a look at his surroundings to see that he is inside a worn out warehouse.

"Um, am I dreaming?" Sunny asks, staring at Mari.

"Yup! You're dreaming." Mari said, smiling. "What? You thought I kidnapped you?"

Looking around, Sunny sees several glass containers, an upper loft, a giant whiteboard with scribbled notes on it, an assortment of strange tools and equipment sorted out next to a computer, and a bulletin board with newspaper articles and blurred pictures pinned on it. There was an open garage in the other end of the room where a truck was parked with the back wide open. Sunny takes a look at himself and notices that he's not in his usual style of clothing. Sunny's current outfit is a casual white tee, black leather jacket and denim jeans.

"This feels too real to be a dream." Sunny mutters as he pinches his cheek.

"You're going through a lucid dream, so that's why it all feels more real in comparison to a normal dream." Mari explains. "That being said, I won't lie and say me being here is a coincidence."

"Hold on, are you Mari?" Sunny asks hesitantly. "Like, Mari Mari?"

"Naturally." Mari casually said. "That's me. Spirit and all."

Sunny had to blink and rub the bridge of his nose in order for him to think straight. This carefree attitude was definitely Mari and brought even more confusion to Sunny.

"Aren't you supposed to be in the afterlife or something?" Sunny asks, holding his head in his hand. "This is all too far-fetched and I can't fathom that you're the real deal. I mean, you must have moved on, right?"

"Hmm, I guess there is no way to actually prove that I'm me." Mari said, putting a finger to chin. "Anything I say would be put off by you as a figment of your imagination. After all, you do have quite the wild imagination."

Sunny can't help, but worry for his sanity as this was moving so fast. It absolutely must be something she made up in his imagination, just as Mari explained. He's done it before so he can surely do it again.

"Ok, I'll play the piper and assume that you're the real deal, even though I highly doubt it." Sunny sighs. "First off, what am I dreaming about? I'm going to assume you have an idea of what's happening."

"Do you know that paranormal hunting show you saw with Aubrey?" Mari asks. "The one before you went to bed."

"Yeah. What about it?" Sunny asks, afraid of what's in store.
