I don't even want to know how long it's been since I made a new chapter, but thanks to the people who saw the post I made, the next chapter is finally here! Some may be wondering if this fic has gotten update at all and truth be told, the previous chapters have been updated last month if I remember correctly, so go and try rereading them to see what's new and maybe refresh yourself before going into this chapter. Anyways, I'm happy that some of you from the Sunburn community wants me to write again so without further ado, let's get started! I plan to make this a long chapter to make up for my absence too! I don't own Omori.

The day arrived sooner than expected and next thing everyone knew, Sunny's birthday had arrived. However, the plan to go to the beach has not yet been told to him and secrecy was a top priority. Still, people are keeping a low profile while still giving their best wishes.

"Happy birthday, Sunny!" Aubrey said, greeting her boyfriend with a plate of eggs and sausages.

Sunny looks at Aubrey in silent shock and that silence made Aubrey a bit nervous.

"Do...you not want it?" Aubrey asks nervously.

"It's not that..." Sunny said. "But, is it really my birthday?"

Sunny then glances at the calendar and much to his surprise, it is the 20th of July.

"Wow, I'm actually stunned." Sunny said, embarrassed. "So much has happened that I didn't realize my birthday is today."

"Well, I remember." Aubrey said proudly. "And I made you breakfast! Aren't I the greatest?"

"Yeah, you're the greatest." Sunny said with a chuckle. "Seriously, thanks for remembering. With all that happened this year, I guess it slipped my mind."

"That's no surprise, but forget about all that, today is all about you!" Aubrey said, grabbing Sunny's hand. "Now hurry up and eat before it gets cold!"

Sunny did as his girlfriend wanted and sat at the table to start eating the breakfast Aubrey made for him. As Sunny eats his food, Aubrey can only hope that things are running smoothly with the others. She needs to make sure Sunny stays in the house until ten since that's when Hero will pick them up. For now, it's best to keep him distracted on the beach and keep everything else a secret.

"Hey, Sunny, so for your birthday, I decided to ask Hero to take us somewhere." Aubrey said to Sunny. "Since it's a weekend, you should be free, right?"

"I mean, yeah. I wasn't planning on doing much." Sunny said after swallowing his food. "What did you have in mind?"

"Me and you are going to the beach!" Aubrey said, throwing her hands in the air. "Aren't you excited?"

At first Sunny had the usual blank expression, but then he smiled.

"That sounds fun." Sunny answers. "How will we get there?"

"Hero will be picking us up at ten, so get some swim trunks and sunscreen because I'm going to give you a birthday you won't forget!" Aubrey said enthusiastically. "C'mon, show some energy!"

"If you want energy, go ask Kel to come." Sunny said, making Aubrey shiver nervously. "Actually, why don't we invite them? It should be fun if we all go."

"Well...they were all busy." Aubrey quickly said. "Sorry, but I was in such a rush to decide that I never thought of asking them."

Sunny raises his eyebrows in a mix of shock and confusion.

Wow, that was a terrible lie. Sunny is going to see through that! Aubrey thought nervously. Please don't question it, Sunny! I'm sorry, but please let it go!
