A longer story. I don't own Omori.

Kim has decided to visit Aubrey at her and Sunny's place for a 'Girls Day'. Due to Sunny being away at work, Aubrey has been both lonely and bored since housework can only take up so much of your time. This was also the perfect excuse for Kim to see 'housewife' Aubrey and there is no way she wouldn't pass that up. Upon entering the household, Kim was surprised at how neat the house was. She has never thought of Aubrey as someone who's capable of cleaning, much to her friend's annoyance. As of now, the two are happily chatting while sipping on some juice.

"Hey, Aubrey, can I ask you a question?"

"What is it Kim?"

"Why is Basil such a wimp?"

"His personality I guess. Lack of self confidence and..uh..."

"The bullying?"

"...yeah..."

Despite the past history between Aubrey and Basil, both were on terms equal to that of their younger childhood days. While Basil doesn't seem to see much of it as of late, Aubrey and Kim still feel guilty about what they did at times. After all, they've only gone back to their usual selves since last month and so friendships are still building.

"What if I said I have a plan to change that?" Kim asks.

"Huh?"

"Let's help the nerd bring his self confidence back up!" Kim excitedly said. "What do you say girlfriend?"

Aubrey just gives Kim a disturbing blank stare. Though the idea sounds nice enough, when Kim gets an idea, it almost never goes the way it's supposed to go. Not only that, but the goal seems very unsettling. Kim and Basil's personalities are like water and oil. Aubrey can't fathom the thought that Basil would even agree to this.

"Look, I know you mean well, but I don't think Basil will agree to this." Aubrey said nervously.

"We'll never know until we ask." Kim counters. "Why don't we go and ask him?"

"Now?" Aubrey asks nervously.

"Of course!" Kim said. "It's still summer. Everyone should be free. Especially Basil."

On one hand, Kim wasn't wrong as almost every youngster in Faraway is enjoying their summer, but on the other, the thought of the two of them approaching Basil with this sudden idea doesn't seem like a smart idea. He isn't much of an outdoor person. More like a greenhouse person.

"C'mon, imagine Sunny's expression when he finds out when we helped his friend raise his self confidence." Kim said, trying to coax her friend."Don't you think he would be happy?"

"Yeah, I doubt Sunny would be happy with this." Aubrey quickly said, which caused Kim to click her tongue. "He may even take this the wrong way."

To Aubrey, it seemed like a disaster no matter how one may look at it. All of the sudden, Kim shoves the chair back and stands up.

"You know what? I'll go to the nerd's house and ask him myself." Kim said loudly. "Thanks for the drink and see ya!"

She then quickly skips to the door and this scares Aubrey.

"Wait!"

Kim stopped and smiled at Aubrey's reaction. Kim was well aware of how much Aubrey cares for Basil on a protective level, so there was no way she could ignore her advances.

"If you're that worried for him, then why don't you come with me?" Kim asks mischievously.

Aubrey lets out a defeated sigh and nods.
