Coming alive.

Saturday morning. Yasmin and Kobi ended up sleeping over,we couldn't even finish spider man.
I slowly roll out of bed carefully so I don't wake them up. I look back and see how cute they are,they look good together,I'm so lucky.

I walk down to the kitchen and I see my mom making breakfast. She looks so stressed. She hasn't been getting a lot of rest lately.
"Morning momma"
"Morning pretty,bacon and eggs?"
"Yes mom,thank you"
"Yasmine and Kobi are still asleep aren't they? You look happy and excited this morning"
"They are. I feel this joy I haven't felt in a long time"
"I thought you wouldn't feel that anymore,your mates are shopping,having fun and living,here you are eating mom's bacon and eggs"
I laugh out so loud,she's always had a spot of humor" momma you should be grateful you have a daughter like me,I'm in the city of New York where teenagers aren't even at home by this time because they partied all night,or smoke and get drunk."
"I'm proud of you my baby girl,but I need you to socialize and live life a little"
"Eww momma you sound like Yasmin and Kobi"
"In that case they're really good friends"
"I smell Bacon" Kobi yells
"And eggs" Yasmin yells
"Good morning Racheal" they both say
"Morning babies,come on,come and have breakfast"
"When did you get out of bed" Kobi asks
"30 minutes ago,sleep well?" I answer
"I did munchkin" he says
" eww don't call me that" I answer
"Can you guys just stuff your faces,it's so early and you're already blabbing"
"Rude much" I answer Yasmin.

We're playing an online game in the parlor.
"Kierra"
"Yes momma"
"The gardener is gonna be coming later in the day,if you could direct and watch him,that'll be great"
"Actually...Kierra has plans Aunty" Yasmin replies
"She does?"
"I do?" I ask
"Yes,we're going school shopping,school resumes on Monday,so we want to get new outfits"
"And Kierra agreed to this? I am impressed"
Yasmin winks at me.
"Yes mom, I did,it's logical and much needed"
"In that case I'd reschedule,have fun you guys"
"Bye mom"
"Bye Aunty"
"What was that Yasmin?"
"What was what" Kobi asks
"Yasmin told my mom we're going shopping"
"That sounds nice" Kobi replies
"I love you" Yasmin says to Kobi
"Kierra let's go have our bath,so we can pick out an outfit" Yasmin says
"Kobi you could use the guest bathroom"
"Not a problem Kierra"

We are on our way to the mall and Yasmin dressed me up in a really short gown,she basically forced it on me, I feel so uncomfortable. Kobi is driving his jeep and it makes me wonder...
"Kob" a nickname I gave to him "how many girls have been in here?"
"Why do you ask Kie" he gave me that nickname too
"Just curious"
"Actually you and Yas are the only girls that have been in here,they love me but I don't"
"Liar" Yasmin yells
"I'm serious, I'm not that much of a play boy"
"Liar" Yasmin yells yet again
" I will kick you out Yas"
"I'd like to see you try doofus"
I have to speak up or else they'd literally fight in this car "you guys please end this, if he says no one has been in here that's up to him Yas"
"I'd find out Kob and I'd prove you wrong Kie" she says
"Oops!" Yasmin yells
"What's up?" I ask
" I forgot my credit card at home,I knew I was coming over to your house for a movie night,I had no idea we'd be out here on Saturday morning driving to the mall"
"I left my wallet on kierra's bed" Kobi replies "should we turn back Kie?"
"No we're already there,I took mine and mom's with me"
"Woo-hoo, let's go burn that bitch down!"

We arrived at the mall,kobi's hand on my shoulder and Yasmin's hand in mine. We're talking and laughing about our teacher who has a funny nose and an iron butt. His butt broke Yasmin's desk once,yes he's a history teacher. I wonder why male teachers feel it's appropriate to sit on  student's desk.

"Why would an iron butt smell Yas?" I ask
"Probably getting rusted" Kob replies
We laugh out so loud the mall guards give us a look of aggression.
"So where to" Yas asks
"Let's go to the sweatshirts and joggers store first"
I suggest.
"What no! You're going sexy this year,no more Farmer Mikey's daughter dressing to school anymore" Yasmin says
"I agree" Kob joins
I give Kob a stem look "come on! Yas I'm so uncomfortable because of this gown I'm wearing,I don't want to be sexy,thank you."
"No my prettty best friend" Yasmin replies and I'm dragged into a female store called L'à Bouchée

"I can see my mom's money getting finished already" I mutter to myself.

Yasmin is tall,she has blue eyes,she plays the guys and acts like she doesn't, she has blonde, thick,long hair. She has round beautiful eyes,and thick lips,and a small nose. Sometimes I wonder how she breathes.

Kobi is your basic high school popular boy,with wavy light hair,and a strong masculine feature,broad shoulders,grey eyes and a really handsome face .
He carries the entire school and at times I wonder how his shoulders don't hurt, all the girls go crazy about him, there was one time in 6th grade, this particular girl named Petina used a permanent marker to tattoo his name on her cheek. She was suspended.

Then me, Kierra. I have brown long hair,and green eyes,and pink soft lips,I have a snatched waist,a pretty cool body shape which I always hide under my sweatshirt and joggers. I'm really pretty and I know it but I don't show it. I am really intelligent but I hate school because I have to socialize but I have never failed my classes.
