ALWAYS TAKE IN THOSE MOMENTS.

PHEW! A week to graduation already? I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm actually going to miss this place. I walk along the halls, touching the walls and reminiscing ,the same halls where I cried on my first day cause I didn't wanna be there. The restroom where I had my series of period accidents. The cafeteria where I brought in my takeout's because the food there is horrible, I only enjoyed tater tots Tuesdays. Honestly, the gym where we had parents and students meeting and I will always climb the podium to collect awards while my mom screamed her head off, the back place where seniors usually fought after school. I can't believe I'm actually leaving.

I walk into class and see my best friends and I sit beside them taking every moment in knowing this is the last week we'd be in a class learning calculus together, I take every second, every minute in, and smile graciously at them. Our teacher goes on with AP Calculus and I listen attentively. After class ,I turn and face my friends.

''I'm gonna say this nicely Kierra' 'kobi says

''well I'm not, are you high bitch'' classic Yas.

''I'm not, I'm just feeling nostalgic, this is our last week in school, after this we graduate and find our roots'' I reply

'''wow that's true, I can't believe it, we're leaving, mehn this hits hard'' kobi says

''I'm excited and you know the other thing too but I'm also happy I'm leaving this hell hole, this is literally the ghetto and I can't wait for graduation day but I'd still miss it here too'' Yas replies

''It's lunch period though, wanna go get takeout's?'' kob asks

''uhm no I'm fine, it's tater tot Tuesday and I'm sure gonna miss those''

''wow way to go Kierra, high school proud nostalgic student'' Yas says

''go away Yas'' I say

''see you later kie'' kob says

''byeee'' and they leave. I head over to the cafeteria and see mike with the guys, i walk over to them.

''feels like it's been ages Kierra'' James says

''hi beasty'' mike says while giving me a hug

''a new nickname?'' I ask mike

''good good, good to see you and mike finally made up though'' Trevor says, his Nigerian accent is just beautiful honestly

''yeah right'' James says while smiling

''right I'm gonna miss it and you guys'' mike and the guys have already been here for a year.

''where's kobi and Yas'' James asks

'''they went to get takeout's apparently they aren't fans of tater tots,weirdos'' i mean who doesn't like tater tots

we sit that way, munching on tater tots and taking in last memories.

the day passes by that way and I get home. I see my mom putting on slippers and looking for something.

''oh hi baby, go freshen up, we're going prom shopping for a dress and a graduation dress'' clearly my mom has taken matters into her own hands cause I wasn't even planning on going to prom.

''okay mama, could we pick Yasmin?''

''yeah sure'' I run up to my room to text Yas on my iPad cause my phone died in school.

LAST DAYS GUYS! I'M SO EXCITED AND SAD TOO! WHAT ARE YOU FEELING?
