Yas's birthday! (1)

It's 12:am! I and my best friends have this weird tradition of calling each other by 12 on the dot on our birthdays, I FaceTime Kobi.

Calling "cocoa butter💩🫁🫂❤️‍🩹"
I know it's creepy shut up!
-"hey Kobi! You ready?"
-"yup,where's your party cap?"
-"oh shit! It's in my closet"
I run over to my closet,pick it up and run back to my room.
-"okay now i'm ready."
-"I'm adding her to the call"
-"hide first,take the camera off your face and point it at the ceiling"
I drop my phone and point my camera at the ceiling.
We add Yas to the call
-"uhm guys? Where are you? Hello? Is it my WiFi again?"
-"Happy birthday!!!!!!"
I and Kobi scream
-"oh my God you guys! You scared me,I like this new tactic of yours! Thank you so much"
-"what do you have planned for today?"I ask
-"nothing actually,I'd probably hang out with you guys,it's going to be one of those birthdays I think"
Little does she know that I and in have a mega pool suprise party planned for her.
-"oh okay,I'd call you when it's time to come to my house,now birthday girl you should get your birthday beauty rest,wouldn't want to wake up with eye bags on your special day,now would you?"
-"I guess not, feels like I'm being chased"
"Why would we chase you Yas? I'm kinda sleepy too you know"
-"Aiit. Night guys,love you!"
-"night night Yas! Love you too!"
-"goodnight baby"
Yas disconnects the call.
-what were you trying to do Kobi? Spoil our plans? That was absolutely miserable"
-" Shut up"
-"So are we still down with our plan?"
-"Yeah guests arrive by 6pm and I call Yas by 7pm to come over,and you come by 12 so we can start planning...bring Macdonald's!"
-"You have a phone,place an order dummy,how do we hold her though?I think there should be a shift though. I'd stay with her and get her dressed till 7pm and you handle the planning cause she doesn't have anyone to be with till evening. Agreed?"
-"You lazy carrot. Agreed....which means I'd have to order my own Macdonald's yeah?"
-"Apparently so bestie! Love you! Goodnight"
-"Night love! Love you too!"

I charge in my phone and put whale sounds on my iPad and go to bed. No judging it helps me relax.

10am. My phone is ringing aggressively. I wake up abruptly to see it's yas calling. Oh my God.
"Hey Yas"
"Screw you bitch! Where are you I've been calling you since 7am"
"I overslept Yas,I'm on my way to your house boo,I'm so sorry"
"Twenty minutes Kierra" she hangs up
Oh damn,she called my full name. I'm dead.
I find my way into the shower naked faster that flash and quicksilver ever could. Bro I need a wax.
I come out of the bathroom and head to the closet. I pick out a yellow gown,kind of my favorite color now and take out a camouflage jacket with my high vans.I put my hair into two partitions,I put the first half into a yellow scrunchie and let the second half flow, I bring two strand out and curl it,I apply a little lipgloss and higher on the corners of my eyes. I look at myself and damn I look too good,take a picture! I'd take pictures with Yas today. I head downstairs and see my mom.
"Hi mama"
"Oh my baby you look so gorgeous" she gives my a peck.
"Thank you mummy,can I use the car today? And what are your plans?"
"I have a friend taking me out for coffee now and where to young lady?"
"I'm going to pick up Yas,today is her birthday so I might be back home late cause I and Kobi are kinda throwing a suprise birthday party for her by 7pm,and your friend...a male or a female?"
"That's late but it's okay as long as you're with Kobi and Yasmin ,you can take the car and please wish Yasmin a happy birthday for me okay? And my friend is a male"
"Okay mummy,I love you byeeee!"
"Bye baby"
I grab the car key and run out reminiscing Yas's face in my head. I'm so dead today. I should get her food.
I stop over at Macdonald's and get her 5 cheeseburgers and two packs of cheese nuggets and two bottle of large sized sprites. I am so dead today.
