𝟔. 𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧

travelers pov:

i never expected things to turn out this way, i was only a traveler from another world, yet i was shocked at the thought of having to fight stormterror, also known as dvalin, one of the four winds, it shocked me, the amount of power i had, oh my.

currently i was breaking this seal in stormterrors lair or whatever it was called.

i fought the hillichurls quickly, using the power of anemo i obtained from the statue of the seven to blow them away. there was so many things i wished to know, such as, what the actual hell is going on in my life anymore. why is this stuff happening to me? so many unsolved mysterys in my life.

venti began ranting about how he felt bad for dvalin, and how he deserves to be free and happy, and honestly i agreed with him, i would hate to feel like i always had to protect a massive city like mondstadt. dvalin deserved to be free, and he shouldn't have to be bowing down to the abyss order out of everything.
i could tell the abyss order than corrupt and just overall a horrible organisation, something as evil as that shouldn't even be around, why did that goddamn unknown god stop me from switching worlds.

here i was, shooting the poisonous blood clots of dvalin, saving his from this terrible pain he has been going through, i never would have seen myself doing this in the past, yet here i am.

dvalin's flying speed up and i started dodging this flying... bullets? elemental bullets? i didnt even know what they were. i flew after dvalin, still shooting the poisonous blood clots. nobody deserved to go through what he was going through, i honestly felt really bad as well. the amount of pain this must be causing him, i was desperate to stop it and save him from such terrible suffering. because deep down, nobody deserves to be poisoned like that.

one of them dissapeared, at least half the suffering was gone right? time for round two, now venti was helping, both of us battling along side eachother to stop him suffering this pain.

finally we had made the other dissapear.

suddenly after, the grounds had disappeared, we were just falling, all of us. was this my death?

i would never expect myself to be dying alone and deep down i was quite scared. all i wanted to do was travel through all the worlds with my brother again, why was the universe punishing me like this?

dvalin flew through the air picking us up on his back.

"it's been a while since we flied together like this, hasn't it dvalin?" venti comfortably laid on dvalins back stroking it with a relieved facial expression and a small smile. it was a happy moment for him, being back with someone he had missed.

how this was a beautiful moment you had wished for it to last forever.

whilst acting grand master jean was out of the city, it was complete chaos. nearby monsters decided it was such a good idea to attack the city, yet thankfully some of knights of favonius were there to defend the people and the city. yet unfortunately they weren't strong enough to defend mondstadt, most of them only being able to hit them with claymores or swords, due to the fact they didn't have visions or an ability to use any of the seven elements.

i went round the city talking to locals, making sure they were okay and safe, thankfully there was no majoy incidents.

most praises and thanks from the locals, some dissapointed they didn't get to fight as well.

i went to good hunter for some food with amber, yet suddenly ran into kaeya, listening to his flirty words and praises i couldnt help but laugh. he was a silly but kind man, he had your respect he truly was a good knight.

he explained what he was doing whilst the city was attacked, and paimon and i couldnt help but be shocked. suddenly amber arrives, finally.

kaeya slipped away from the scene and me and amber ordered some food as friends would. both feeling relieved that this horrible situation has been resolved.

i broke the news to her about leaving mondstadt to find the my twin brother and she looked upset but she understood that family came first, i promised to visit which made her go back to her usual cheerful self, we both began eating before our food got cold, enjoying a nice, warm meal with my close friend.
